Oh, I totally disagree with you on spiritual successor of E-type that goes back to the original X 100 XK8. It looks like an a tight from the opening in the grill does sleek, curved, smooth panels, the rear end that was the closest you ever get to a modern E-type.

This car has been waiting to die since it was released. The people at jaguar all need to be put on the street because they cannot get their hands out of their asses. This car has been unreliable since the production of the XK-120. Yes it is beautiful but it can not be relied on driving around the block. For a country that has such crappy weather you would think their electrical system would be bullet proof but it certainly can never be said it is. They all need to be dumped out on the street until LUCAS electrical can be destroyed which will never happen.

Didn’t catch the year of this F type. It was a beautiful car. It was certainly in pristine condition. Less expensive than a Mustang GT.

So, what are the downsides? Beyond its mass, overheating dif, slightly rusty bits...

The 4cyl is awesome the front end is so light and the camber are set so it is one of the best handling cars on the planet 0-60 in 5 seconds and 30 mpg forget about it lol

Can anyone give me reasons to trade out from a mint XKR late model, very low mileage that has never missed a beat to an LC500? Would require an extra £30-£40k to do so… feel stuck because of the value for money

Classical musician here, and the Meridian sound system is EXCELLENT. Orchestras sound like orchestras. Not sure what you’re listening too to say it’s not that great.

I sold my F-Type S last year (fabulous daily driver). Partly because is was a 2015 (last 2WD year) and partly because the new Jaguar owners committed to going all electric by 2025.

Nasty rearend collision last weekend ended my mint condition 2016 R Carbon, which I planned to keep until the Gov't bans fun cars. Now what???? Another one? Or, is there anything else out there? No EVs for me.
