i must have you Andorra video around 10 times now, I had considered Cervinia, as an alternative now we have done Andorra 3 times, but apart from the Matterhorn, it doesn't seem worth it, and I think my wife would very much find it challenging given she really only likes easy blues for now.
ОтветитьCervinia with good lifts compared to other resorts in Italy??? Yeah nah if you move east a little bit lifts get better and better and as you get to the Dolomites they are just world class, nothing shy of top Swiss standards that you might find in places such as Laax
ОтветитьCan you share what were the restaurant prices on the slopes and in the village? How much was beer, pasta, pizza, etc? :)
ОтветитьThanks for the review, was EXACTLY ON POINT with great information! I was really angry that i didn't get to visit Cervinia-Zermatt .
I booked pension in Solden and plant to also visit Ischgl, St Anton am Arlberg, Hochgurgl and Obergurgl. Do you have any recommandations for Ischgl or St Anton am Arlberg?
One of the worst least knowledgable ski resort reviews i have ever seen
ОтветитьZermatt has increfible scenery along with the best sking there is
ОтветитьPathetic video
ОтветитьThe thing you haven't really talked about is the amount of vertical km you can do in Zermatt-Cervinia. It's probably the only ski resort in the world that has multiple 10+ km long pistes. Also, the Zermatt side is known for opening all of their pistes a bit later than Cervinia. You were there in mid December, a bit early in the season. Zermatt is best in february-march, even april.
ОтветитьCan you qualify your definitions of beginner vs intermediate? I am going to Zermatt next week, this is my second year skiing and I would consider myself an intermediate which in my mind is "I can ski anything that is groomed". I do struggle a bit on a very steep groomed blacks, and blacks that have been scraped off and are icy scare me as well. In the US there greens, blues, blacks, and double blacks, so classifications are had to translate. And camera does not show how steep the run really is...
Ответитьbloody talkative man...what have youve been smoking whole day n night..before skiing in zermatt ......555555
ОтветитьThe whole area is just too confusing. I couldn't find an online piste map which is a bit ridiculous considering the Cervinia-Zermatt are is one of the most popular for skiing in the world.
ОтветитьSo, how long does it take to get from the Bottom of Cervinia to the town of Zermatt? Do you have time to walk around Zermatt little bit and make it back to Cervinia? Tnx 😀
ОтветитьVery poor I'm afraid. Very disjointed, no real info and certainly no real understanding of this huge ski area. You didn't even begin to scratch the surface of Cervinia/Valtournenche (VAL_TOUR NENCHE, not Valtourneche). How you can claim this is expensive is rather laughable. You seemed to spend the vast majority of your time in Switzerland, which is damned expensive and everyone knows that. PS.. you can ski here for 22km non-stop, yes non-stop... all the way down to the cable car at Valtournenche!
ОтветитьKind sir, can I ask what are your favourite resorts?
Ответитьby far the most useful video about getting from Cervinia to Zermatt, im heading there end of January start of febuary and have been looking for advice/information on how to get there and back from Cervinia to Zermatt and this video has answered so many of my questions so thank you.
ОтветитьI went to Cervinia in 1981 for a day because Prato Nevosa had melted😮 (it was in March) It was a very memorable day because our skiing holiday hadn’t been ruined after all. Thanks to the glacier, we had a great day. Great skiing! No mention of the high altitude though. I was seeing stars in my eyes at the very top. Still great fun 😊
ОтветитьNice running commentary!
ОтветитьMuch of your critique could have been avoided by reading the piste map.
ОтветитьThis review is amazing. You have a real knack for giving the right information for families to choose where to go.
Now if you don't mind over the coming weeks going to about another 10 or so resorts and reviewing them for me to decide my next holiday. Tia
My advice for anyone going to Cervinia, and starting your holiday , go up to plan Maison lift, then go up a couple of extra lifts and enjoy some amazing wide cruising blues back to Plan Maison , get your legs going and then decide what to do, I found myself spending loads of time around that section , really nice , also be aware that they shut the connecting cable car connecting Zermatt a lot !!! I loved Cervinia , some really good skiing
ОтветитьGood morning
ОтветитьThanks for the video!
ОтветитьWhat a great honest review!
ОтветитьIm curious to know what your top 10 ski areas are?
ОтветитьThis is quite a strange video. You state a few times that the amount of skiing is limited (it is not). Lots of the skiing on the Cervinia side is left untouched, almost as if you didn't know it was there until the end of your week. You also seem to choose some very strange routes, with quite odd and hard to follow instructions/tips. Worst of this is you complain multiple times about the flat blue run once entering Switzerland, but seem to completely ignore the red alternatives. You also complain multiple times about the "boring" red to Furi - it is dull and has long flats. But completely ignore the black alternative (it is not at all difficult). All round a very strange perspective.
ОтветитьDo you know if it's easy to park in the center of town? I booked something really cheap 1.3km away from the center. There's a lift close to my hotel but it's not connected to the main part of the resort.
ОтветитьWhat is in your top 10?
