If you’re playing without the backpack upgrade, I suggest upgrading your trash can. Then you can still get at least some money from things you have to toss.

When I did this run I made an exception for the backpack upgrades. One row of inventory forever would be torturous!

In my first ever run I foolishly believed I didn't need the extra backpack and spent money on making my farm pretty. Summer year 2 is when I finally picked it up... I then realised the error of my ways. Same story with the horse stable... Atleast my farm looked nice
