These are beautiful, beautiful guitars. Just 2 weeks ago or so i got myself a 60th Standard bourbon burst model and i am SOOOO happy with it. LOVIN´ IT!!!!! Wanted one since i was 12 or so and now i am 50 and finally(!) got my own.

I've always used a roller bridge on all my l.p. and Grover tuners which solved the problematic tuning issue. In 78 there were no roller bridges so I know all about it

What are the necks like? Any numerical specs on 1st Fret thickness to 12th fret thickness?

I love the new models but the QC over the last 3 years was horrible I had to get 3 61’ SG’s over a 2 week period before I got one that wasn’t cracked or wildly flawed

Unfortunately they use ABR1 but it's not directly mounted on the top, and that's not the same thing for me. No long tenon but they sound great too.

Is it me or they sound like shit? Blaming my mic but if it's not my mic than bad Gibson! Bad!

If you buy a guitar from Anderton's, please check that it has been packaged properly before it gets shipped to you. My PRS was sent in its gig bag, loose inside a cardboard box. No padding, and no care taken!

That case is wrong! You couldn't just make a correct case? That's looks like the cases that come with chibsons. The guitars are great. Case sucks.

So they've changed the name of the 'traditional' to what has always been the normal model name, but it has non-traditional appointments and options. They never will learn! Good thing they hired another 'widget guy' to run things.

I've been wanting a Les Paul for a long time and waited for the one. I may have to head to Sweetwater soon and compare these 50s and 60s LPs! I'm loving the look of the Unburst finish, but they were all gorgeous! This may be a very good year to be a Gibson fan! Thanks for the life stream!

I wonder what will happen with the ES range? Seems to be very few making it to our shores at the moment. I know memphis is closing/closed but does anybody know if they are going to a similar launch for the ES guitars?
