It would be amazing in the prequel if Paulie’s actual father was hit by a trolley and killed.
Russ, whatever happened there.
Carmine probably did know Paulie but was playing stupid in case he had a wire (fresh out of the can and all that)
ОтветитьBorko this is your fault...you manipulated Paulie to go in bed with Johnny and fuck the glorified crew...
ОтветитьPaulie was just like Rico in Paid in Full. Hyper emotional and volatile. Great if he's on your side. Devastating when he's against you.
ОтветитьJohnny Sack loved Paulie like a brother-in-law.
ОтветитьIn the end, Paulie was the wormy corksucker...
ОтветитьI thought Paulie was smarter than that, being a old school gangster!🙄🤡
ОтветитьSil was a true gangster to the end, but his high standards and honesty for the business made him an ineffective boss. Sopranos' character building and writing is bar-none genius.
ОтветитьPaulie is the most loyal mobster, until the boss disprected him.
ОтветитьHow much betrayal can Paulie take?
ОтветитьPoor Paulie, his carriage turned into a pumpkin
ОтветитьThat boat in the painting is a work of art .
ОтветитьTony should've got rid of Paulie on the boat
ОтветитьHe was looked over on major decisions because he would have been a liability if he had power. he was incapable of seeing the b8gger picture or compromising for everyone's benefit everything was about his ego he couldn't stand the fact that others were better earners or had more respect. He murdered an old woman for a couple of grand bullied the woman who raised him and talked out of school not good boss material, a useful street guy and enforcr but that was his limit. If he'd ever rose higher the family would have constantly been at war amongst themselves and with other families over nothing but his imagined slights and petty grievances they would probably gone to war with New York because Johnny Sacs wore better suits, Paulie was obsessed with everyone knowing he was a gangster. Not good in their thing. He would have been a godsend to anyone trying to put together aRICO trial he would have taken everything down with him
ОтветитьPaulie was a good soldier but nothing more too concerned abot his gangster image to ever be a boss
ОтветитьSun Ta Zoo said it best.😅
ОтветитьTony Sirico was such an amazing actor!!
ОтветитьMetallica’s The Small Hours cover blasting in the club while Paulie and Sylvio are talking in the office was perfect!
ОтветитьSilvio’s ohhh might be the best
ОтветитьThe more I watch of Paulie I wonder how he survived throughout the entire show 😂
ОтветитьSil was being a smart allecky wormy clock sucker. And w big carmine he coulda knew him or not....carmine always playing...slippery old bastard.
ОтветитьSo did Paulie’s father get run over by a trolley or not?
ОтветитьPhil got an envelope of sliced cheese every week for 20 years when he was in the can.
ОтветитьPaulie's reaction was akin to somebody at work realising their superior doesnt really know who the hell they are and thus, will likely be passed over for a promotion. At least thats the way I saw it - god damn this show was brilliant in that it was so relatable to everyone who watched it.
Ответить"Nobody knows what future holds" Paulie actualy thought Carmine gonna make him boss hahaha
Ответитьpaulie never had the makings of a varsity gangster...
ОтветитьSil never should've told Paulie how Tony felt. Looking back, that was made Paulie start to plot against him in the end
ОтветитьThe back and forth when he calls Sil a “wormy c*cksucker” and Sil response, “Doooooaa!” Is one of the best scenes between the two. RIP Paulie, he truly held his own amongst many great actors in that show.
ОтветитьSomething I’ve noticed in Toni’s crew….. every season 1 or 2 people are plotting against him
ОтветитьCan't fault Paulie for having dual loyalty given how much Carmine thinks of him...
Ответитьthe biggest plot hole on the show is Carmine not knowing Paulie.
Paulie has been in that life probably close to 4 decades, are we really to believe they have never met?
For example, they were both at the party after Chris became a made man.
"4 months inside I'm supposed to skip down the street?"
ОтветитьHow much more betrayal can he take?
ОтветитьBut Paulie wound up being one the last men standing to do business with Carmine Junior, and New York.
It's funny how that turned out, isn't it?
Smoke screen.........look over here.......not over there...........WHO CARES what the bidens done.
Ответить"It wasn't me Tone.."
"Oh yeah?"
"That's right."
The joke chronicles where trully a glorified joke almost destrpyed the Jersey Crew
4 months inside im supposed to skip down the street!? 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIt’s amazing how star struck Carmine Sr when he seen Paulie, Carmine was loss for words because he thought the world of him
ОтветитьAnybody ever wonder why Carmine sr the boss of a NY family would go to his housekeepers kids wedding?
ОтветитьI love paulies peaks and valleys quote, sticks with me to this day.
ОтветитьPaulie definitely gave Tony up to ny in the end. It's foreshadowed in season 1 when Tony dreams of shooting him during a chess game and Sil quotes the famous line from godfather 3: "our true enemy has yet to reveal himself"
ОтветитьThe way Carmine is shocked by Paulie approaching him, like if he’s approached by crazy person on the street
ОтветитьThe hard on drawn over the gondola was pretty strong. 😊
ОтветитьWas carmine pretending he didn’t know Paulie? Or did John never talk to Carmine about Paulie?
ОтветитьI don’t see how Carmine didn’t know who Paulie was. This is a cappo in the Jersey crew that goes back in the mob as far as Carmine did…no way they’ve never met.
ОтветитьI love the Metallica in the background at the Bada Bing.
