Love the fact you didn’t do the traditional grasses and went with shrubs and tree in your pots. 🇨🇦
ОтветитьWhat’s the tree nursery instagram you mentioned you enjoyed?
ОтветитьI ❤️ you guys! Those containers are gorgeous.
Happy 🌈 Pride month.
(I gotta say, moving all those soil bags shows me how strong you are. I'm 68, so I'm now buying smaller bags so I can handle them.)
Just beautiful guys! Look forward to the progress. Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦❤️💪
ОтветитьGuess I'm notI the only one who dreams about summer containers! Everything came out great!
ОтветитьLove the color combos in your containers .
ОтветитьThey are going to be beautiful!
ОтветитьMy goodness they are so beautiful I just love all those flowers thank you for sharing
Ответить❤❤.. you both are my favorite people... Love everything you guys do.. Such an inspirations to me.. That Japanese maple tree is going to be perfect in that POT.
ОтветитьBoth your particularness is amazing. I am here for it.
ОтветитьAbsolutely gorgeous
ОтветитьLove the placing of the Japanese maple, love love love
ОтветитьYour containers are always amazing but this year I think you've really knocked it out of the park! I secretly watch you guys to see what you're going to do before I get into my bigger pots so that I have the inspiration I need!
ОтветитьThe Japanese Maple is a winner, what a fab idea. Love all your pots. I adore double flowers, feel as though I'm getting more for my pound!! (From UK)
ОтветитьYou two are so joyful. I’m so glad I discovered your channel.
ОтветитьAwesome ❤
ОтветитьStunning!
ОтветитьGreat placements, looks so soothing please give us a tour again of your place 😊after all these plants I’m sure once you get all decorated up
ОтветитьStunning!!! And kutos for never tripping as you walk backwards to show us your plants. 😀
ОтветитьThe containers all look so beautiful I think my favorite is the one with the Japanese maple. I have a Japanese maple in my front garden and it’s stunning this year this is its third year. I thought I had lost it the first year we had a lot of snow piled up on top of it I was so worried but it was fine phew 😅. They are not a cheap plant either.
ОтветитьHi guys ,, my chitalpa died on me cause it was too hot I’m in Florida, but I put her to the side under a tree and she started coming back, sheas in a small pot , she loves water , I’m keeping my eye on her ,she. Is back😁love your videos , and all the new changes❤️
ОтветитьI liked that you moved away from the purple fountain grass. I decided not to use it this year, the root system gets massive and inhibit the growth of the annuals (IMHO). My pots are way smaller than yours, so using plants like angelonia, gomphrena, salvia and cyprus grass (baby tut) work well for my centerpiece. Great selections, your outdoor space is amazing!
ОтветитьJust realized you are in my area, do you ever give tours of your gardens, would love to visit!
ОтветитьPung Kil Jap Maple from Iseli is one of my favorite red ones...great choice....I have to warn you that Jap Maples in pots whether you bring them under cover or into garages in our zones, mine being 6a in eastern Wa on those weird years you can lose them. I lost 20, two years ago and I can no longer continue with this passion of mine. I still cannot stop myself from buying a few for pots but let me advise you, plant in the ground in our zones if you love them and you will never lose a one. Love your channel!
ОтветитьEric and Christopher- this may be the best year yet! I love the selections. Thanks, as always, for taking us along friends!
ОтветитьYou guys are so much fun. I love watching your videos. Enjoy your beautiful garden this season.! 🌼🌸🌺
Ответитьthese are the best yet ;)
ОтветитьInteresting that you brought the main line up through that pot. Won't it kink? It looks like you used a quarter inch in at least one of the pots.. I keep my main drip line tucked back, out of the way and sort of out of sight. And bring a quarter inch supply line up through the pot. Then depending on what is growing in the pot, I will attach to that, either a drip line, or an emitter directed to the more water loving plant, or a sprayer to get the entire pot.......
ОтветитьI love how both of you guys work together, I think why you get along so well is because both of you enjoy gardening and doing things together. So that makes it fun, I'm learning so much from watching.
ОтветитьMay I add to the comment on how polite you are to each other? I also see the respect and kindness you have for each other. You set quite the example and should be proud of that. Also my question is, where is the green house going and when will you put one in?
ОтветитьIf you ever find some extra room for an extra hydrangea or two - it isn't Proven Winners, but it is called "Early Evolution." It is a panicle hydrangea that only gets 2.5ft tall and wide. The coolest part about it is that it blooms SUPER early. I am in 6a as well in Michigan, and I already have buds forming on it. It apparently ages like a pinky winky, where it starts white/pink, then ages to darker colors all through the season. It can be in full sun, but be planted in the places you maybe only put a mountain hydrangea!
ОтветитьBeautiful guys ❤
ОтветитьI was just about to ask how large is the opening on the extra large garden pot before I order, and pop you had it up on the screen. Thanks not only for sharing all your gardening knowledge but also for the great editing on all your videos.
ОтветитьIt took me a few passes before I realized that Eric was not saying "Fold part sun". lol
ОтветитьI have some very large containers that I would like to plant a small climbing rose and also a clematis. I’ve lived in 9a Alabama for the last 10 years , only had to worry about the heat. I’m now in zone 6b NE Ohio I’m wondering if they would survive in the container over winter? I lost so many hydrangeas in pots this winter, even those in the ground are not great looking. Maybe overwinter in the unheated garage? Hate to move those large pots, but if I must🫤
ОтветитьI love Kimberly Queen ferns , I wasn’t sure if could easily find them in NE Ohio, as I’m visiting in Alabama right now I’m taking starts from the very large pots that I left behind with my dil when I moved. I’ve had them in barrel planters for over 7 years , they’re huge.
ОтветитьYou know how people say they have spirit animals not me I have spirit gardeners and plants lol You guys mix a type A and a creative flawlessly. You really understand color, texture, and cohesiveness. The black iron throughout the garden to die adds weight in all the right places. Your plant choices are beautiful and interesting. Love your gardening style it speaks to my soul great job!
ОтветитьYay, such great combos. I am also experimenting with that chitalpa and some gaura in a container this year. Also zone 6 Ontario 🇨🇦 so curious if it will survive the winter cause I have it a more tall narrow pot (15 “ diameter but 26” depth) but it’s only a quart shrub so far and won’t it be fun if it does survive? 😉 can’t wait to hear updates next spring.
ОтветитьOmg love a Japanese maple, but well it live through the winter
ОтветитьLaura, from Garden Answer, grows chitalpa (sp?) in the landscape, and they are amazing! I can hardly wait to see how yours does in that glorious pot!
ОтветитьBeautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThe Kimberly fern has personality. All the containers are stunning but I am drooling over the Japanese Maple with the underplanting combination 🤩.
ОтветитьHello from Boston The pots are HERMOSOS! Love you garden
Ответить💙🪴👍🏻🪴💙
ОтветитьAmazing containers so pretty!
ОтветитьIt's taking everything I have not to run out and get ferns for my already full planters! I planted an El nino chitalpa this morning that I ordered on line because they are sold out everywhere. She's only 7 inches tall but I can't wait to see it grow and see how yours does in a planter! Your planters are exquisite! Thanks for another entertaining video!
ОтветитьBeautiful pots
ОтветитьAbsolutely LOVE your choices of plants❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ Georgeous property❣️
ОтветитьGorgeous!
