In brands like Zara I wear XS, high end is usually EU34 or S, but China, girl, they call my size “plus-size”. All I did was laugh because it really is that ridiculous, I feel for the people who fall prey to this type of toxicity, this is not ok.

As someone who is an artist and loves music (I consider it a different form of art, like writing and film) I know that the artists I’ve been around are rabidly anti ai (and they should be!) and the funniest thing i have seen entire music communities agree on is that “ai music is bad except for our lord and savior hatsune miku” which makes me loose my mind laughing every time. I agree, apparently a lot of actual artists are involved (willingly and intentionally) in making hatsune miku, but seeing that the other day took me OUT

One of the most annoying things about ai in my area is that you sometimes have trouble distinguishing between a really good camera and editor and ai “photography”. It’s so much easier for me to clock an ai anime girl or something than it is for me to go like “that’s a fake photo of a big cat” because the modern cameras have a certain vibe that seems easier to fake. Also, I’m sorry for any artist who’s style has been “smooth and detailed digital art” because you are going to be extra scrutinized by me. It’s just too polished sometimes in that certain way, ya know? If I wasn’t following an artist with that style before, knowing 100% they are human and i have been looking at their stuff for years, it can get kinda messy? There is something extra polished about ai art though that I don’t see in human stuff. It’s a little too… something I can’t put my finger on. I call it a vibe but it’s something deeper and it bugs me that I can’t tell what I’m clocking, just that I did clock it

i have the opposite problem in america🥲 i'm size 000 here and even sometimes thats too big for me, never had a pair of pants i can wear without a belt...meanwhile i have never seen a store that doesn't sell up to at least XXL?! i wish we had these small clothes here, or at least kids clothes stylish enough to wear as an adult

In the real world, people just ignoring them. You don't have to fit those clothes. They are not that common.

I need to go to china, its hard to find actually small croptops here in the US.

We are seeing this in the USA when we order off of Amazon. We're ordering clothing that is labeled med or large women's sizes and after viewing the size chart we order accordingly but when the items come they are always too small. I have given the clothing to my teen and they fit perfectly. It drives me crazy that I don't order clothes on Amazon any more.

I'm 5 4 and 125 lbs but I sometimes have to buy size 14 or 16 in girls in us sizes lol it's the same as a small basically but shorter. American brands have issues with petite clothing overall. Everything here is made for tall girls

Fyi almost all of it are strechy i guess. And i actually grateful that clothes exist bcs people with small body like me can use it and looks pretty despite being skinny. Im 162/42 and having a hard time gaining weight. I know most of beauty standart are toxic... but as skinny person... i feel like excluded bcs im skinny and all of other people pointing finger 😅

50 years from now when china gets to be as woke as the white countries. You'll see fat acceptance everywhere, and it all stems from these sort of beauty standards

I bet that if a store made actual good fitting clothes they probably get famous and other stores would start to copy them 😅

I went to that store bc I saw one on the street wearing the brands brown sweatpants and it’s sooo cute. But then i went to the store and literally wtf... kids don’t even fit into them. The only thing that probably fits me are the pants which are still! Super small.

Ain’t no way I’m 12 and weigh around 20 pounds more than an adult (but I’m tall for my age so I just have a bmi of 23 which is on the higher moderate side and Asian women are usually short)
