I for one got my N+ A+ CCNA. One of the top people in my class. Did not change jobs because I would had to step down in pay. Time went on now I do not remember anything. What he is saying is correct ‼️
Ответитьvery informative video but i had to pause for about 15 minutes just to laugh at the 4 year
french part🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi Jeremy thanks for this video
I need one help
I preparing ccna
I planing to make my own lab
But now I am here in Qatar
How to purchase devices for my lab
How much cost will have to pay
I'm stuck in a position where I'm making a decent salary but there is no future or growth, I personally was interested in obtaining my CCNA just to go in a different direction into something that would potentially have more growth BUT my current job has little to do with networking. So if/when I attain the CCNA, I would be starting from scratch and possibly be taking a hit on my salary. Curious if you (or anyone) would recommend this path and is it typical to be hired with ONLY a CCNA? I have general IT experience, but never worked an IT job before. I don't have a college degree in Computer Science.
ОтветитьI have my Security Plus I'm interested in Networking, my question is should I go get my Network +or my CCNA cert?
ОтветитьJust passed my CCNA today! Ive passed other exams and the feeling is just the same every time seeing “congratulations you passed” at the end!
Ответитьthank you so much for help me get the ccna
ОтветитьGlad I found your channel. I've been wanting to do my CCNA for years.. now that I'm in a tech job I'm not too fond of, I think now is the time.
ОтветитьPASSED CCNA
THANKS TO Jeremy
IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF HIS VIDEO
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE WAY YOU TEACH
6 MONTHS BACK I HAVE COMMENTED IN ONE OF HIS VIDEOS ON GUIDE HOW TO PASS....
NO BOSON IS COMPULSORY. ...AS I HAVEN'T USED IT ....
THANK YOU SIR
Missing your videos nowadays buddyy
ОтветитьI got my CCNA finally. Going to start working with current company with the network team. Thank you Jeremy for your great teaching skills and your enthusiasm.
ОтветитьI passed my CCNA a few months ago. I moved out of a dead-end IT job at a bank to now working at an ISP as a system engineer. Some of the skills I acquired directly apply to my work. There's also a ton I've learned at my new job that would have been extremely difficult to pickup without the fundamental skills/knowledge I got during my CCNA studies.
(Jeremy is one of the reasons I passed my CCNA)
Great advice that I should have heard it 1 year ago.
ОтветитьGreat stuff!
ОтветитьThank you. You are right, I remember when I finished my ccna I got a job in a small isp company and I learned a lot from here some from my course and some from real-world experience
ОтветитьThank You ☺️💞
ОтветитьI'm watching this video after passing the CCNA lol. I am currently applying for jobs.
ОтветитьJeremy 👌🏾✨
ОтветитьCould you imagine not being required to do a foreign language course in H.S. and using that time for something else that would directly benefit you?
Ответитьunfortunately this is exactly what happened to me, i carried on with my university studies and i completely forgot everything, i couldn't apply to any jobs at the time because in my country the ccna is mostly theoretical and i felt not confident/competent enough to apply for jobs related to network , now i regret it but i don't wanna think that i did it for nothing, is there a way to update my knowledge on it, or possibly some sort of training ?
ОтветитьHey thank you 😊
ОтветитьSir, is the CCNA syllabus upgraded after 12 months? I want to learn CCNA now but I will do the job after 3 years (after completing BSc). What should I do at this moment? Please let me know
ОтветитьAwesome clip to see. Thanks for upload.
ОтветитьIn India it is really difficult to get a job as CCNA who doesn't have a degree, what do I do ? I'm Completing my degree but until then what ? because that is going to take more 1year
ОтветитьHi! I passed my CCNA in October and moved to Denver at the beginning of January.. Maybe I followed this advice subconsciously, but this is exactly what I did. The CCNA probably was like "hey this guy actually knows SOMETHING" and I got in the door as a computer technician (I could've done this exact job as a senior in high school, but oh well, it's in the industry kind of and pays well). However, I want to continue studying. I have seen that getting the CCNP is basically a piece of cake after the CCNA and I'm wondering if I should get the CCNP before studying cyber security (what I'm actually interested in)
ОтветитьEasier said than done, most people like myself study their CCNA to get a job and it isn't for a lack of trying that they don't get one. Now I'm talking about the UK here where there is a shortage in this field, where are these jobs? trust me I have been searching. There also seems to be a lot organizations that don't even know what they are asking for, applying for CCNA certified individuals but in the job role ask for essential knowledge of subjects beyond the scope of CCNA, to CCNP level and above, so maybe this is why people "collect certifications". Studying my CCNA is starting to feel like a bit of a con, study your CCNA start a new career, where are the jobs and opportunities!
ОтветитьI got my CCNA a decade ago...applied to dozens of positions. Not one call back.
Mind you, I already had experience. I worked in a data center (for the data center) as a network tech. Meanwhile, I would run across guys who barely had any experience who were calling themselves network engineers .
I was infuriated.
Who you know if more important than what you know.
i got it last year in February and i really don't know what to do??!! can someone help me, i feel lost
ОтветитьThis makes me happy. I'm prepping to take my CCNA soon. But I've been working on my soft skills and landed IT jobs already without it. Hopefully I pass, but this really motivated me. Thanks again
ОтветитьYeah.. I passed my CCNA exam on 2012.. but only 10% are applied in my job environment..
ОтветитьWow... this goes against the grain of compiling a whole bunch of certifications and licenses, really is contrarian!
ОтветитьWould be nice if companies would even consider me for a job since most jobs require several years of experience for entry-level jobs and are paying a barely livable wage in a large metropolitan area...
ОтветитьI have several years helpdesk experience and am studying for CCNA. Assuming that I take the exam and pass, what are my chances of landing a networking job?
ОтветитьAnother good cert I would recommend not matter what position you work is CompTIA Security+. This will teach you A LOT about security fundamentals that EVERYONE should know.
ОтветитьCan we keep this video with zero dislikes plz
Ответитьwhy was I not subbed to my man Jeremy
ОтветитьThat was some food for thought. 😦
ОтветитьGreat video!!!
ОтветитьHi Jeremy,
I totally agree with this. Nowadays you will hear people take this AWS cert, or this cert just because. In the company where I work for, we don’t use AWS. However we use Cisco, some HP, Palo Alto and F5. So I focus on learning these technologies instead to be successful in my current position and help the organization that’s paying me.
ok so now that the whole damn world has changed... Im studying for CCNA, mandatory quarantine, lost job, have a nest egg, this is a complete career change. Ciaco just opened up online testing, What do I study next? Collaboration is the new buzzword, we need security to collaborate, and enterprise routing to provide the security, oh and NetworkChuck $#!+ in my ccna cli sundae with API, Python, DNA SDN so it seems like maybe start at the beginning of the DevOps track is the most forward looking option. Maybe Linux+ or Azure or VMWare so many options
ОтветитьRelax
ОтветитьWhat should i do after my Ccar?
ОтветитьGreat advice, very practical and realistic.
ОтветитьWish I had seen this video ten years ago 😔
ОтветитьGreat advice in 6 mins..
ОтветитьTaking my ccna in may, and have a summer intern ship this year hopefully it leads to a full time job.
ОтветитьThat microphone waving around bugged me alot
Ответить
