Should I be concerned if an injury from 2~ years ago still causes crepitus?
I had an injury to me knee about 2 years ago, lots of inflammation on the lateral side of my knee, it felt like fluid and maybe bursitis, it healed up but I have crepitus only on that knee 2 years later. No pain, still squatting heavy just fine, just worried about it.
Okay what if I only have one knee that cracks like this? My right knee doesn’t make this noise but my left knee does. My left hip also seems to always be so much tighter than my right
ОтветитьIs the leg press bad for knees? What’s the optimum range of motion for that machine?
ОтветитьYa here is the simple explanation, focus on your pelvic alignment.
ОтветитьYou really look like one of those skyrim NPCs
ОтветитьMine always pop when i'm squatting but no pain. I've always been curious if there was something wrong
ОтветитьMy left kneecap always cracks when I’m walking downstairs and it’s loud that my partner can hear it . I don’t know what to do . If I should
Go to the doctor or not . I’m only 32
For the past couple of years, if I consiously pop my knee, I will get excruciating pain a couple of hours later on the patella tendon. About once a year, I forget this and just pop my knee and I have to prepare for the inevitable pain that will come later. No way to fix it other than lie down and try to pass out and hopefully wake up after the pain is gone.
ОтветитьI'm super fit and in shape but just been told I have degeneration of my knee at 31. My knees click but don't hurt so not sure how worried I should be.
ОтветитьMy knees and ankles Pop :(
ОтветитьHii am also 16 and I have the cracking knees for years. I also have a lack of energy and losing hair on my forehead. Do you think it is connected ?
ОтветитьMy knees have been popping since I was born. Just like my mom's. It's very loud but I've never felt any pain. Sometimes when other people notice, they make a face as if it was painful. My ankles and my fingers also pop, but not nearly as loud.
Ответитьso doing squats is bad?
ОтветитьI had ACL injury some 10-15 yrs ago, ligament torn....had surgery, still cracking :(
ОтветитьFat guy fell on my leg playing rugby when i was 17 been popping ever since.
ОтветитьMy knee popping for football injury in 19 years old😢
ОтветитьMy knee is week
ОтветитьI've always had a problem with my knees locking on me when I was a kid so now all they do is Crack and pop and just feel weird and over all look weird
ОтветитьMy knee pops constantly every squat, lunger or any knee related exercise I do, should I be worried?
I doesn't hurt though.
Thanks a lot brother
ОтветитьMy knees have ALWAYS popped. At times it can be embarrassing, especially followed after the usual question from people, “are your knees ok?” I would say I’m active lightly other than doing my daily chores as a mom. But as of the past week, I have been trying to go to the gym more. Now, yesterday I did added a few things like weight to my squats and I don’t know why one knee hurt more than the other to the point I feel I can’t squat.. so I appreciate this video, going to give these exercises a try. Hopefully I get relief
ОтветитьThanks Doc, great vid. Subbed
ОтветитьOh wow super explained. I love the t-Shirt 🥰🌿✌️😎
ОтветитьCan the illiotibial band be a source of crepitus? my pops seem to emanate from the lower, outer area of the knee, not directly from the center or patellar area.
ОтветитьThat's a relief. I had some cracking in my elbow when doing overhead dumbbell lifts. No pain at all, but I wondered if I should be leaving it alone. Hopefully nothing to be concerned about.
ОтветитьHi! Is it normal to hear cracking during patella mobilisation - mostly when patella moving downward?
Clicking (not cracking) occurs also when moving - bending knee in the air or when squatting.
Im working with physiotherapist with my jumper's knees.. He told me that its for sure first or second degree of patella chondromalacia.
Apart from jumper knee I am not having any problems with my knees but I love to run, hiking. But with this degeneration of patella it's completely different approach (volume).
Hello again. Thank you for your excellent videos. They are really helpful. Quick question: I have heard it said, in other courses, that a flat back, jack-knife-like, single leg squat is strengthening for the proximal hamstrings rather than the gluts. In these courses they advocate a squat with the neck and back flexed forwards to activate and strengthen the gluts. I'd be very interested to hear what you think about that. THANK YOU Julieann : ))
ОтветитьThanks for the video 👍
Ответитьmy knees have always cracked but never had any pain i always thought there was something wrong. But i can now be at ease. Although the noise it makes still bothers me.. makes me look like a crunchy old man when squatting.
ОтветитьI fixed every pop/creak/crack in my body "including knees" by preventing energy leaks in my hips and upper back, perfect posture in these areas will allign the rest of your body naturally, also, to squat squeeze your ass to fully properly activate every lower body muscle, i never did that my whole life and always had popping cracking posture issues now that i do that during leg workouts and full body workouts like bruce lee no energy leaks along with tensed abdominal and upper back ur body will fix itself
Ответитьmine do it when i stand up. thx for the info's!!
ОтветитьHi! I had some popping after I did few squats.. When I bend my knees, it kinda hurt and makes me walk gingerly.. do I have to be concerned? Do I need to continue squatting with that situation? Pls help

ОтветитьMy knee has been cracking and popping since I’m a teen. I never figured why. I saw a video of a doctor who talk about low collagen that cause this and low and behold I start taking collagen, after a couple weeks it’s gone. It feel so strange the sound you hear yr entire life every time you get up disappeared.
ОтветитьMine have cracked and popped since i was a child. I have some small trouble in one knee, but that one was smacked hard in a wreck.

ОтветитьWell we crack our knuckles, we crack our knees
ОтветитьI heard you cracking knee but how about when you go up? I got about 10 cracks going up from a squat
ОтветитьI looked it up on webmd. You gonna die
ОтветитьYes. mine make cracking sounds. I think it is damaged cartilage.
ОтветитьIt definitely doesn’t deter your knee from spraining.
ОтветитьMine sounds like a rubber band when I sit and stand, I don't have pain but this sound just started, I'm almost 60. Will this help me too?
ОтветитьNice video, thanks for the info.
My knees crack all the time, and i hear crunching noises as well.. like a stone rubbing on sand. No pain, though. Should I be concerned?
