Very practical! Thank you!
ОтветитьGreat tips! Thx
ОтветитьThis old dog (32 year CAD tech) learned a new trick today. I never new CTRL made the radius 0 in the fillet command. Thanks Brandon!
ОтветитьOutstanding!!!! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьMy recent favourite I discovered.... TXT2MTXT
ОтветитьI draw site plans and floor plans and "mid between point", and "from", are probably what I use the most of.
ОтветитьGreat Tips Brandon, Thanks for posting!
One of my favorite shortcut commands is CopyToLayer, I deal with mutliple layers that im buidling off of for die design and it helps alot.
Best tips video so far.
Thx B
Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks so much Brandon, I'd agree that being able to cycle through stretch, copy, rotate, scale, etc. has saved an incredible amount of time for me as well.
ОтветитьHmm... on my machine I have to presses the SHIFT key to make the zero-radius fillet. How come it works with CTRL for you? Also it doesn't join the lines together into a single object for me.
Ответитьstumbled upon your videos today at work. i got certified for Cad Inventor 10 years ago in high school. would it be possible for me to learn autocad all over again? looking for somewhere to start again just dont know how. i want to work remote lol
ОтветитьGreat tips as usual.
ОтветитьThank you sir, I learned. Those little tips are so helpful ❤
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьThe second trick you stated doesn't work for me. Holding "CNTRL" down while I select the lines to perform the fillet function on works no differently for me that I had I not been holding down "CTRL". Is there some sort of setting that needs to be on for this trick to work?
Ответитьcrazy, I should watch and know this video like 7 years ago, it would save lots of my time I've wasted only for the stupid repitition commands I did🥲🙃🙃🙃🙃
ОтветитьHi there I have a question. I've made a floor plan of an apartment complex using an old plan of a house I made a while ago but I have just realised almost all lines are not at 90 degrees angle so the drawing looks messy because the lines aren't straight. Is there a command I could use to make all the lines straight instead of fixing each line as it will take me days to fix them all?
ОтветитьMove, Rotate, and Scale is just crazy for me 🙌 we got 3 in just 1 command. Big Thanks
ОтветитьWith lines it will not work the fillet command, use polyline and it will work... thanks
ОтветитьSlightly wrong there in that grip trick. The 4th press of enter or the space bar is mirror. If you hold ctrl in this mode you create a mirrored copy. The Ctrl key in Move does a copy. Rotate the same.
ОтветитьEvery time I think I am good at AUTOCAD, this guy comes out of the blue and teaches me something. I really appreciate it. Keep it up.
ОтветитьThanks budd🖤
ОтветитьTextlayer dimlayer hatchlayer
ОтветитьMind blown!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing these cool tips! Do you have a course in Revit for architects by any chance? Or would you recommend any? I am looking for a solid course for beginners to start using it in work settings as quickly as possible.
ОтветитьThanks a bunch
ОтветитьThanks mate, just started using AutoCAD for technical drawing 👍
ОтветитьBrandon, I do not get the filleted section to become part of a polyline unless one of the lines is already a polyline. Am I doing something wrong?
ОтветитьGreat tips a good few of these I didn't know.. added to the notebook !
ОтветитьFor some reason, the fillet trick doesn't work with Ctrl for me but Shift does. Maybe it's a setting thing or AutoCAD 2025 is different? Also, just typing F brings up the fillet command, no need to type the whole thing. Great tip!
ОтветитьBrandon you got yourself a new subscriber. Somewhat of a vet here been using CAD for the past 15 years. Yet I learned a lot in just this video.
ОтветитьThank you! What are your thoughts on the YQARCH plugin please?
Ответитьis there a command that can edit a line or delete it from an object (block) without entering block editor????
ОтветитьWowoowow the second tip is mind blowing....man this save me a lot of time.
Ответитьfillet+ctrl didn't join the lines, it only fillet them, was it that one of the lines needs to be a polyline in order for this to work? thanks for the other tips!
Ответитьthank you for this video.... Ncopy will help me alot ^^&
ОтветитьPlease sir, I'm a beginner.
To say your amazing is just an not enough. Excellent qualify this great work.
