Have you read Andrew Lownie’s book ‘The Traitor King’? It’s a real eye opener about Edward and Wallis. Very well researched and throws light on how extensively the two of them actively conspired with the Nazis. I’ve seen these two pictures compared before. It’s no coincidence. Maggy chose Wally’s look specifically to send the world a message. Edward wanted to be King and Mr Simpson at the same time and that was not doable back in the day. Only after Harry and the Slug left the Royal life did they realise what they were missing out on.
