PlanetWatch Type 2 Sensor - Turtle Unboxing and Power Consumption

PlanetWatch are back with a new Sensor, this time it's a Type 2 Outdoor Sensor and given the moniker "The Turtle".

The Turtle "should" spend it's days outdoors powered by it's built-in Solar Panel. I purchased the optional Power Adaptor because I know from first hand experience that Solar isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially in long periods of overcast weather and the winter months. Time will tell whether the solar panel alone is sufficient to keep this sensor running all year round.

In this video I will do a full unboxing of the Planetwatch Type 2 Turtle Sensor + merchandise bundle. I will address some shipping issues and also test the power consumption of the power adaptor when connected to the sensor.
