Too much hang time between trucks. The shovel should not stop swinging. Sitting there with his bucket danglin in the breeze while trucks dawdle into his bay is too much lost time. 30 sec wait is 1 load lost every 3. Maybe his run is undertrucked a bit but they are too slow into his bay all the same. Also there is a delay in them getting away once last bucket in. MAYBE this is a CAT thing where the suspension needs to settle a bit before load sensors can register a weight and therefore allow the thing to select a gear. Sometimes they wont go if they are overloaded too much.

Either the operator is slow or the Cat 6080 is slow.

So the haul trucks load on level one take it up to level three and dump it over the edge so the goes done to level two and the dozer pushes it over the edge back to level one so it can be loaded back on the haul trucks !

I don't get why they are dumping the same material 50m besides the spot where they are excovating it. The loded dumpers just go up the hill and dump the dirt over the edge, it's the same material.

Assholes taking jobs from people and giving them to robots, especially seeing as the robots are no quicker in this case

What's the meaning to make it autonome ? And is it really secure?

Why is a dozer feeding that shovel over burden isn’t high or unsafe and cycle times on the shovel are slow
