I did an asus z690 they have several 3 pin headers the fan led were connected directly to the to the board with a splitter cable The 4 pin pwm was connected directly to a 4 pin pwm header there was also 3 pin hub for non pwm fans the case came with that 2 case fans 3 pin fans connected ( no leds on these ) allowing speed of all fans to be set thru the bios according to system temperature . Also the bios had settings to change the color patterns on the led . If posable this saves lots of extra cable . Research your board to see what it supports before buying . This gets complicated .

Can we connect xpg 3 pin led controller connector with liquid cooler 3 pin connector for argb sync bcz my motherboard does not have 3 pin argb header. So I want to sync liquid cooler fans and pump with I/O led controller is it possible? My case is xpg battle cruiser. I already connect with reset sw with 2 pin connector on liquid cooler but It's not sync able that's why I ask you if i connect with 3 pin argb connector is it work?

My fans are orange by default, when i change the colors, after i turn my pc off, the color goes back to orange (to the default) i have to open the case everytime i turn my pc on to switch colors. How can i fix this? Also, apps don't detect my mortherboard/Fans.

Why can’t you just connect? The three pin that comes off the fans straight into the motherboard? Why do you have to use another cable if they both have the same female ends?

I'm trying to build my first pc with an asus motherboard and got everything hooked up but I'm not getting the fans setup in the case. The aio triple fans have the 3 prongs which hook together and plug into the 5v port on the motherboard but the triple fans that came with the asus case have 4 prongs and attach to a sata plug but no controller. Do I still just plug it into the power supply or how do I make them work together

You can’t even see what the wires are from that distance

I've been watching multiple videos to understand how to properly install RGB fans in a computer case. This video helped, but I'm still very confused. I wish I had gone to college to study computer hardware. I must be really stupid, because I'm still very confused.

Also, hire a better cameraman who knows how to focus on small parts that you're holding, otherwise you're just flinging parts around that we can't tell the difference between.

Maybe stop shaking cables and such when showing what they look like as the camera man or woman can not get a clear shot and is a waste of time to show it if it can not be seen clearly.

I have the argb fans and my motherboard doesn’t have a 3 pin header so I plugged it in to a hub. The fans are spinning but they aren’t lighting up. Any suggestions? Thanks!
