Recently bought land on Lombok near one of the beaches you visited. Hope to build a villa. Never been in Lombok while we (as a fam) love Bali. Great video, love the vibe. Apparently Bali is passe for many Indonesians, now choosing Lombok (and other islands). The fact that Lombok Muslim will surely be a factor but e.g. as well the MOTOGP (motorcycle) yearly event on Lombok plays a role (Indonesians are the biggest fans of GP worldwide). By the way they build a Formula 1 circuit close to the beaches you visited, hoping to lure F1 to Lombok. Doesn't really match expectations for such a remote island, does it?

Watching these 4 videos you made of Indo capturing the feel of being a bule surfer girl with a ~ lovely spirit and winning smile ~ has brought back such great memories. I wish you continued joy for wiggling your toes in the sand life. ✍))) cyber hugs.. Rob

If you want to improve your surf you need to understand one easy thing : If you put your back foot on the pad you're gonna gain a lot of control on your surf, the position you have on your video is good if you want to gain speed, move your feet it will certainly improve you surf

Hi, hmmm duno I was on the beach you had to yourself in may 2015, nice spot there, all the surfers were just hanging around the Maui break main beach. But yeah Maui is shallow and gets rouge sets and I didn't spent long there but it wasn't very enticing. Gerupuk is super fun area and outside lefts and inside rights are good. Looks like a fun time!
