Never realized how many trails are up here in NC. I come from a road bike back ground cause it’s flat where I lived but here in NC looks like I’ll need to earn a new discipline.
ОтветитьLeft unsaid... naw, she didn't get the extras.😂
ОтветитьCan you just snap off the tire ones on the spokes
Ответить🐶
Ответитьit was enough to picture the sprocket condition(length of spikes) and I would shortlist this bike
ОтветитьHow did you become so good with bikes. I want to know your story
ОтветитьI own 3 Trek bikes including a new DS 3. i watch newer Trek bikes sell in one day on marketplace, i live in Vancouver BC. it is a very bike friendly city, people are gobbing them up here.
ОтветитьEnjoyed your video! Loved the way you cleaned and tuned that nice bike.
ОтветитьLol, no extra $100 was spent on flip bikes 😢
ОтветитьI'd be surprised if you turned a profit after the cleanup, tuneup, pump, multi-tool, shopping time, taxes, and those bike shop visits. But if it was all for the joy of the journey, I totally get it! If you laughed at him, I'd question if he'd laugh at the effort for the minor profit gain, if any.
ОтветитьI want to see a video where you upgrade a Roscoe 6 and shred on it
ОтветитьYou did still also give it a $120+ treatment(what it would've cost at a shop round here). vs i could've seen it and test rode it and still would've offered $150 or more less than asking because of this reason..
ОтветитьI don’t think u should have sold the bike to this lady she asked u to drive to a bike shop and started haggling on the price thats unacceptable, u could have just turned down her offer after the bike shop confirmed the bike status as perfect lol not sure what people think when they buy used products they think they can buy for half the original price by citing some ridiculous blue book 😂
ОтветитьThe one hour drive and all that cleaning and work that went into is not worth the 100 dollars. But it's content 🤷
ОтветитьI do not understand the point. You bought the bike, invested at least 2..3 hours and got 100 $ extra. What do you want to laught about? Is you time (2..3 hours), your camera to make good photos and your time to go to do the photos not comparable to 100$ at all?
ОтветитьI've bought and sold hundreds of used bikes and Bicycle Blue Book, to put it gently, is misleading at best. In my opinion, they're scamming people. What most people don't realize is that BBB buys and resells used bikes so their trade in or consumer resale value is often not even close to the bike's actual value. You can use BBB as a reference but it really doesn't tell you much about a bike's local or national market value. Often, what a bike is worth is far different then what it will sell for. Typically, the older the bike, the less accurate BBB tends to be. Condition is also a huge factor that's not given enough consideration in their calculations. It's not uncommon to find 20 year old bikes that have been hanging in a garage their whole lives but according to BBB, they hold little to no value. Frame size is also a huge factor. The larger the frame, the more value it tends to retain. There's not as much demand for small frames so they sell for less. On the other end of the spectrum, XL frames are the fewest sold and big guys break stuff so few make it to the used market. An XL frame can sometimes sell for two or three times what a smaller one would. BBB is more of a hinderance to educating people about used bike values then it is an informative tool.
ОтветитьI was actually thinking you were going to give the original seller back his $100. But guess not!
Love these flip videos so much. I always learn a ton!
Reflectors are their for legal purposes.. and if you want to ride to bike on the road at night, they legally need to be on the bike just like reflectors on other vehicles. If a cop wants to be a dick they can ticket you without them. Now, if you have no intention of riding at night or on roads, they don't matter.
Ответитьim about to get a roscoe 8 for 425 and i cannot wait for it to come
ОтветитьSo you drove two hours, paid for gas, added some wear on your truck, then spent how much time cleaning it and tuning it? Then how much time taking pictures and putting up the add, and answering inquiries, making an appointment, going there... and you made a 100 dollars. That's a whole lot of effort, time, and expenses, for very little gain. I get it, it's to make a point, but the guy who sold it to you for 800, without putting in all that time and effort (and expenses), I would say made the better deal. Or one can say, the lady who bought it off you got the best deal of all. A like new bike, already tuned after initial use, for nearly $400 off, now that's a good deal. Good for you for selling it and not being greedy ;-)
ОтветитьRosco 6 has bad hubs befoer 2021
Ответитьwhat is that bike stand holder thing you used to hold the bike up
ОтветитьAlthough it's very lovely to watch these videos, it's not worth my time doing all this for $100 bucks.
ОтветитьNot me watching this and get super jealous
Ответить1000 for that I got the same for 150 usd like that all the same part
Ответитьi enjoy these vids so much
ОтветитьPersonally, I would have left the reflectors on, if it were me selling this bike. 1) It makes the bike look even newer and unmodified. 2) It opens the bike up to a larger crowd. Someone looking for a simple bike with little knowledge of bike styles and a higher budget, might see this as a nice road bike, because it has reflectors. Again, being that they're all present, it looks as though the bike is like-new, undamaged and unmodified. 3) You bought this bike, knowing that it was a good deal, therefore, any MTB'er in the know, would pick this up, regardless if it had reflectors or not. When flipping anything, the point is not to aim towards a specific market, but to simply make money from anyone willing to spend it.
ОтветитьWhere can I buy a bike from him??
Ответитьi love ur channel and knowledge but it seems you overpay for used bikes!! im actually a reseller and just got into bikes because its an easy market to resell from here in southern cali. the gt aggressor used should be 200 and this bike should be closer to $4-500 used. as much as you know about bike prices, i think you lack bike market value knowledge and sales. but im sure it doesnt matter since you make money off this video and was the original intention of monetization. but for anyone else watching...these are well over paid prices.
ОтветитьI felt you when you dropped the brake oil bucket. I have been there too many times. Slippery plastic and oil. What could go wrong?!
Ответитьdo you every shut up?
ОтветитьIs it me or does a trek marlin 7 seem like a better deal compared to a roscoe?
ОтветитьHi ,I was going to ask where you can get a good fully for a kid?
Ответитьdamm btch was really good at haggling
ОтветитьNoice video may bru
Ответить100 dollars ????!
Ответитьreading some of the comments is hilarious, criticizing a $100 profit margin, what you all don't get is he gets to make a video that's garnered 1.4 million views and earned way more than a $100, so yeah keep laughing 🤦♂
ОтветитьI always knew santa is real!!! U basically gave her a present.
...800 for a bike + gas + good 2 hours service labor + new grips +...
Lesson learned 😂 , nobody cares about photos bicycle blue book is all they care about.
Love your videos! Take care!
Lol. This was just a waste of time for him. How many hours of work + travel by car that costs fuel for 100? That's not even minimum wage
ОтветитьLove the motor drive sound effect.
Ответитьbrooo im so hyped im about to get a new talon 1!!!!!!
Ответитьso you earned 100 dollars on like 10 hours work, new oil pluss using your water and soap, and then the gasoline for driving? gj XD XD
ОтветитьI used chat gbt to write an ad for a bike I was selling, and it pulled all the specs and wrote a great description. Did a better job in 3 seconds than I could have tbh
Ответитьaside from the content you generated from the video, kinda sounds like you lost out on time and effort.
Ответить
