I dropped all drugs once the heroin was in my life. I don't know any dope head that would leave opiates for bathsalts.
Its honestly not very enjoyable.
Regardless we all have some kind of poison we like.
Ive even been addicted to cough medicine.
I quit everything except pot and beer. These type of people need something to get off on. Just have to find a way to get high with something safer. If all someone does is smoke pot after addiction problems, thats a win.

I was told by my biologcal father after meeting him 16 years later that I was a mistake , that I should never have been born. I was so hurt,it's hard to describe. Today I'm 53 and it hurts , but having support systems around really helps me knowing that I am worthy and stuff (Sorry I'm tearing up) . I think the close member her abused her added to her trauma. I relate to her loniliness. I really hope she makes it. I got on some drugs and alcohol but now am off it and soon to be a Drug and alcohol counsellor here in Australia. I have lived experience and so much want to help those who battle with addiction - A disease - NOT a crime. Okay I'm outta here , I'm really choking up. Thanks Intervention , Love you all xx

Please. For the love of science. Stop calling them bath salts. The smoke is not incense, those are not bath salts. They sell the drug under the moniker but if you put them in your bath they wouldn't work. They're synthetic drugs. And they're great 👍🏻

Biological parents are irrelevant if someone else raised and loved the child from infant. I understand the feeling of betrayal, and she should've been told from the beginning, but her reaction is just terrible. THAT IS YOUR DAD. There is SO so so so so much more to being a parent than blood. If anything, blood is the least important.

It is the parents fault. It starts from them. Sad

Don’t judge her. Relapse is part of the recovery process. First deal with the trauma, then the addiction. AA/NA doesn’t work for everyone. Interventions and treatment centers are not always the answer. People don’t fit in boxes.

Never a good idea to lie to your children about their real parents.

It's crazy how we want a parent that never wanted us! STEP PARENTS ARE THE BEST! She has so much childhood trauma that is needed to be deeply healed and that fact that her family loves her enough to help shows everything she needs to know but it starts with HER!! SHE'S not ready so they can't force her

Yea I can see why she started using drugs. A 12 year old super hero was literally taking away from her and was touched by her family. Yes she is betrayed and hurt.

After the horrible things she said to her step dad he still loved her that much!!
To me that is amazing how someone could show so much love, I hope she is okay and that she finds recovery.

I don’t get it. Can you even get bath salts anymore? Who sells them? You can’t go get them from a corner store any longer. If I recall, China made them in labs. Has the Mexican cartel taken over on production or something, and they’re bringing them across the border?

I found out when I was 11 or 12 my last name wasn’t the same as my family’s didn’t mean anything to me none of my brothers family is blood related my now step dads family isn’t related doesn’t mean anything diff to me they love me no matter what my real dads parents never met em they don’t like me and I could care less

One week out and relapsed on xanax, meth and weed. She wasn't ready to quit all along. She only satisfied everyone else's concerns. I pray she's OK today 🙏🏼

Have you guys noticed what a high percentage of addicts were molested by family members? But it gets glossed over. Rehabs arent properly addressing the incest trauma itself.... & certainly the abusers arent getting prosecuted at the rate they should.
