FIRST TIME WATCHING *Divergent*

As someone who read every book of this series, my least favorite line change ever is Four saying "What makes you think you can talk to me?"

In the book, in this very SCENE, he was so helpful. I remember wathcing this movie and being like "???why did they make him such an ass???" LMAO

It's funny because you say you can see why teenage girls would love this and then you act like an immature teenage girl watching the scenes. Classic 'pot calling the kettle black' 😂

This reaction was pretty funny. Just shows how dumb and funny the situation really is. It really was a predictable and watered down version how of other dystopian stories at the time. The first two books were enjoyable. The movies however go off the rails in the second one. Just lame how they never were able to finish the story. They got a little too cocky with the third one by splitting it into two films and then never making the second (final) one for it.

I actually was an extra in Divergent! I was in the Choosing Ceremony, so none of the cool action scenes. Just sitting in Abnegation for hours and hours. :)

For those that have watched ALL 3 movies and is wondering what happened in the 4th and final film that they said they will not be making.. SPOILER









Tris gets killed, which made me mad haha Tobias (4) gives the memory serum to Peter, who intends to start anew. Caleb volunteers to expose the memory serum, a suicide mission, but Tris replaces him. She successfully repels the death serum but is shot by David. Dying, Tris sees visions of her mother embracing her, before she succumbs to her wounds. THE END

Also 4 ends up with Christina at the end, Tris's best friend lol

I know that this movie gets a lot of shit for being a fanfiction-esque film, but I honestly love it sm

Spending the first 40mins of this film completely misunderstanding why Divergent isnt a good thing is so funny like what? 😂 I thought they made it pretty obvious that she shouldnt tell anyone.

the monster are usually people.. btw my childhood was like live or die and literally when I see her face when her dad die, totally can relate. Literally the calmness in chaos and you know exactly what to do in that situation. Now as I'm grown I have been in emergencies and that thing kicks in. It like time dilation in my head and calmness everywhere. I'm sure there a lot of people with PTSD and other conditions experience it. And BTW people notice and listen to you... my sister would know and will listen and do as a say... I think it's a skill I will never be able to lose, weird right?
