Did he really say "the sustain" with a straight face? This feels so much like a Spinal Tap parody.
ОтветитьDude has a serious set of chompers
ОтветитьI love Adam. One day ill be able to afford his custom silverburst. In about 18 years when all my kids move out 😂😂
ОтветитьI love tool but I kinda despise this jerk, I´m so glad didn´t bought those expensive signature guitars :(
ОтветитьInterview with the vampire vibes
ОтветитьPirates?? Lol
ОтветитьThis guy is a huge troll, he did an interview for a magazine and when asked about his tone, he said he put his marshall head in the fridge 🤣
ОтветитьHe sucks 😂
ОтветитьThis is my dude for real! So humble, so fkng talented, the most artistic member of the band in my opinion.
Ответить"all these guys dressing like pirates"
roflmfao
Adam is the best
“It’s the highs, and the lows…and the mids.”
Yeah bud, that’s what makes up a guitar sound
He’s good at hiding his fangs
ОтветитьHey what guitar is your year??
Ответитьchewbacca out of costume?
ОтветитьMy fave member of Tool.
ОтветитьHis hair now matches his guitar
ОтветитьDude lookin like hes about to transform into a werewolf.
ОтветитьJust watched a video from 2023 of a live concert. He’s still playing this guitar incredible.
ОтветитьI’ve got that exact guitar. Bought it in Texas new in 1981 with money I had earned working all summer for Shell Oil company. I’ve worn all the paint off the neck and it’s pretty beat up. I really only use it for studio work now because it’s so fucking heavy! It’s got cool flip out cranks on every tuner to facilitate quick string winding when changing strings.
The absolute truth about that guitar is it’s pretty limited. And not the best Les Paul. The lighter the Les Paul the better it sounds! A light weight gold top or deluxe are the best sounding Les Paul’s. That’s why those 1959 burst guitars are so good.
What I play now is a Les Paul guitar I made myself using all I’ve learned over 40 years of bands and studio work. It’s lightweight, got cut down surfaces to fit the body like a Strat. Gotoh tuners and a solid bridge. The nut I carved from a whalebone I found in the beach. The pickups are from Seymour Duncan. A 59 in the bridge position and a Jazz in the neck position. Those are the important parts. The neck is typical of the middle thin ones from Gibson. Fat stainless steel frets and action set up do my hard rhythm playing doesn’t buzz. Not just plucking not buzzing which is the typical setup. I could make it lower to impress someone if I wanted to sell it, but it is my #1 guitar now so selling is unlikely. I set up lots of guitars for friends and rock stars and the setup is THE. Most important part of a working guitar.
Finally, let the guitar find you. If you play one and can’t quit thinking about it and it’s haunting your waking moments and dreams ….buy it! I have never regretted buying a single instrument.
I wouldn't have walked away, i would insist on the year of the guitar, pickups on this guitar, long vs short tenon, how is ebony compared to rosewood, what strap locks in your guitar? Did you install them yourself? Do you think that has any effect on in the tone etc... I'll make him talk like there's no tomorrow
ОтветитьThis somehow reminds me of The Office.
ОтветитьAnd here's my teefs 😁
ОтветитьLets his guitar do the talking
ОтветитьIt is awesome that they've never planned to hit the top 40's, they liked there jobs and wanted to play at night to express theirselves. Its so down to earth and cool
ОтветитьAdam is such a grounded person. He is true to himself and doesn’t fall for fads or what’s popular.
ОтветитьAdam is so humble we almost didn’t get TOOL. He’d have been huge in art though one way or another.
ОтветитьWhoever he is he's a fucking gremlin...learn some hygiene brah
ОтветитьIs Adam a dracula?
ОтветитьMy Brother Liked Chicago Police But I Had A Place In My Heart For NYPD And We All Are Aware Korn And Their Prior Affection ❣️ 😍 💖 For LAPD. Recall The Hoods Obsession (NWA)Yelling F The Police, Ice Cube Reminded Us To Go At It With No Vaseline.
Ответитьit's a 94..
ОтветитьAdam rocks
ОтветитьLove tool and I love Adam but brother if you feel dirty when people call your music metal then take that fucking bath. If it still bothers you, try not to play metal asshole!
ОтветитьI've seen Adam jones.he turned into a warewolf.and ran into the woods howling like a hell hound
ОтветитьHe may be the most quiet famous guitarist ever.
Ответить"It's a '94." They say, "Oh." And just walk away. However, as old as this interview is, there are collectors who fetishize over early 90s Gibsons. Adam will have to invest in a hoodie now.
ОтветитьWhere was her fucking gun?
ОтветитьTo be fair at the time of Hair Metal the bands WERE dressing like pirates
ОтветитьThat gleeful look at the end,.
ОтветитьI like Adam Jones as a guitar player but I wonder if he still believe all this bs he said in this interview. "You will not find these guitars in Europe". What??
ОтветитьDude !! Where did ya dig this video up from. This is F-ING awesome!!🤘👍. It does have black Machine Heads (tuning pegs). I wonder how many people believed him that the (obviously) late seventies Silverburst Les Paul was a 1994 (for that time period / mid nineties production model🤘🎸🥁🎙️🎵🎶
ОтветитьAnybody know where i can find the interview of him calling tool munge?
ОтветитьI will definitely agree with him when he talks about the quality of the guitar. So many guitars look great on the front but when you turn them over and look at the back there's nothing back there. I love how they did the paint scheme for my silver burst. They really put a lot of thought into it and didn't Focus solely on the front of the guitar there is silver on the sides of it and silver on the back as well. It was definitely expensive but I definitely feel I got my money's worth.
ОтветитьIt's famous for it's sustain
Ответить"It's control...it's control of the highs, and the lows, and the mids..." Is he trolling?
ОтветитьI have one in gold burst bought for 1200 bucks back in the day.
