full throttle down will give you v ring state powering up makes it worse always have forward or back speed airspeed if coming down that fast you could hear the uneven pitch in motors caused by rough air thats been thru ur props already

Mate you did the phantom3 no justice at all in that review , first no compass calibration hence the drone landing way off the take off point , mine will land with in 2 feet maximum , if you calibrated it you would find if it looses signal from controller it will rth but depending on battery percentage , once again if you calibrated the compass it will not allow you to fly far enough away so that you cannot get home but that is set in the parameters you set in the app , so you should of done your homework first because you made yourself look li,e a rookie

Yer I’ve always waited to say home point saved . Never landed more that 3 or 4 feet away !

I have a breeze 4K drone it is very slow but it has a 4K camera but is the ski phantom 3 a fast drone and does it have a good camera

To land back home , you need to fly up at least 35 ft before you fly around.

Just got one, I wonder why yours didn't record the home point? My return to home gas always been within 1ft of the take off. Updating the IMU may help you also.

If you check back on the video the last time you flicked the gps switch was about the position the drone landed so it looked pretty close to me

The wind was blowing away from you so you sent the drone further away to drop the chute? Why didn't you fly it further behind you so that the chute would drift towards you?

The reason why it landed so far off from it's home point is because you forgot to stick the antenna out; you left it folded.

When the P3 does a low battery auto return and it is landing like 50ft away from you can you use the stick to bring it in closer to you while it is doing the auto landing? And i didn't hear if you said it or not but does this dron have sensors on it like the P4 does? Thank you

I love the Hubsan X4 Pro Drone Parachute Recovery System I bought on ebay for SUPER CHEAP! It will be going on my Phantom 3 Standard when it gets here. I had it installed on my 5 pound hexacopter and it worked perfectly!
