The PP party in rule in Spain was founded by Franco ministers. They voted against the present semi-democratic constitution. All of their members are fascist themselves, or the sons of the torturers of the dictatorship (remember that in Spain there was a general amnesty for them, as a condition for the 'change' of regime - something that did not even happen in Argentina or Chile). And this all happened with the necessary help and complicity of Mr. Kissinger. It is a shame for whole Europe, the USA and the world !

Catalan independence is not in line with the Spanish constitution, thus, it is illegal.

However, based on the decision of the UN International court on the case of Kosovo vs Serbia, Catalan Independence is legal and binding.

What now?

The reporter said at the end that Catalan's are split over the question of independence. This is false, 90% of Catalan's voted for independence. How is that a split? Otherwise, how can that statement be interpreted differently other than implying Catalan's are divided. Why the selection of verbiage that can be so easily misinterpreted? MSM... there are so many doubts about you. Time to get Real.

If Spain is divisible, so is Catalonia
If Canada is divisible, so is Quebec
Canadians already taught what should be done in a situation like this. Not surprising of course it was Canada, the true land of freedom!!
It's not a secret independentism is geographically distributed, so each subregion or municipality should have the fair right to choose if they want to stay in Spain, move out with Catalonia, or even create a new state or autonomy. That a is true democracy, to offer solutions that are beyond the fallacy of the false duality for this case.
Being that said, do you dare to hold really fair elections, Puidgemont? and stick to it as a true democrat, who really seeks for the mandate of people? or are you a coward hiding in the herd? only ignoring what is really right and fair but not convenient to your interest.
Puidgemont, why are you afraid of having a real debate? people trying to impose others by any means is called fascism, and you are a becoming one!! Respect all people's right!

Thanks to the international media for the coverage of the Catalan balance ... on the other hand the news media of Madrid give biased news, of course you could expect without being part of the Francoist party of Rajoy and his lackeys

Spain Prime Minister Rajoy is leader of the People's Party.
The PP were formed by Franco's minister Farga who was a committed fascist.
Madrid adopted a veneer of democracy to join the European Union
but underneath there is a powerful belief in fascism. The Nazi salute
has not been outlawed in Spain. Many supporters of the PP can be seen
giving the fascist salute as the Police headed to crush democracy in Catalonia.
They were shouting,"Go get them".
