With the settings you showed it definitely takes the characteristics of the higher frequencies away from the vocals. I'd make it more gentle to avoid this

This plugin fixed all of my problems
I had so much background noise i could not use reeverb at all and it also messed with my autotune, my vocals sounds much better now, thank you🙌🏻
