That section from Alma to Fayetteville on I-49 is notorious for speeders, travel several, times a week to the VA hospital in Fayetteville, from Fort Smith. It Is incredible the number of people traveling 20-25 mikes over the speed limit all the time, and acting like it’s their own personal racetrack.

Trooper Duarte is still my favorite trooper.

Yeah, running also creates reason for a search too. What might be just a speeding ticket turns into a drugs, guns and money arrest and felony...... Most criminals are idiots with poor self control. That is why a lot of innocent but mouthy teens and overgrown children end up in cuffs, cops are not going to get punched.
