“When the Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down the Pirates don’t eat the tourist”
ОтветитьActually in the book, Malcolm did die and the lawyer did actually live
ОтветитьWell I think 'funny' story is a bit of a stretch.
ОтветитьI love Jeff Goldblum but...how is that a funny story?
ОтветитьOr just ask "How does that help the story?" Maybe he has an amazing idea. I cant see how, but who knows. I guess SS didn't like the idea too much
Ответитьi do
ОтветитьKeeps looking into the right....who's there??
ОтветитьThis story wasn’t funny.
ОтветитьAfter hearing the idea, Spielberg decides to change the script. Instead of the bloodsucking lawyer getting killed by accidentally falling into the dinosaur enclosure, Spielberg has him on the shitter, pants around his ankles, outhouse gone, fully exposed, eaten head first by an enraged T-Rex.
ОтветитьThis video will find it’s ways.
ОтветитьErraghhhh haghhh haaahh
ОтветитьWhen Jeff Goldblum talks it’s 5% actual information and 95% Goldbluming
ОтветитьYeah I feel like neither of them read the book. Malcolm was Crichton's voice but Gennaro did survive to the end and wasn't a POS like in the book. They should have considered adding Regis from the book in which is mostly who the Gennaro from the movie is playing as.
ОтветитьYou know instead of raping that franchise with another awful Jurassic World sequel why not just make a more novel accurate version of the film? It'd be a hard R but it'd be worth seeing raptors suck down RPGs
ОтветитьWow, what a Chaos Theory
ОтветитьThe toilet death scene was more memorable than the entire plot of Jurassic Park 2.
ОтветитьI think Malcolm dying was in keeping with the spirit of the book and the theme of the story, in the sense that he- as the chaotician, was warning people of the dangers from the get-go. His whole character purpose was to elaborate on the red flags of the premise, and what better way to do that than by dying?
Ответитьin some way I actually get his point. Like if Malcolm had died in that scene the dramatic impact would have been brutal because he was such a likable character.
ОтветитьThat…that’s Chaos theory
ОтветитьThe actor he was talking about was also in miami vice. I'll bet Jeff was furious when he suggested that
ОтветитьThat’s an interesting theory. I think they did Genarro’s character in the book a grave disservice with his snivelling, weak, capitalist counterpart in the movie but I think if Ian Malcolm was killed by the Rex (in fairness he wasn’t short on courage) it would have some serious impact.
ОтветитьImagine a world where Donald Gennaro lives and Ian Malcolm Dies 🤢🤮
ОтветитьDann he doesn't even know the guy's name lol
Ответитьjeff goldblum is the type of guy that laughs at his own jokes and waits for you to awkwardly laugh as well
ОтветитьI mean I don't want Jeff to die in JP1...but it would send a bit more of a message if the slimey lawyer who wanted to still go ahead with the park was the one to survive and Jeff's character who seemed like a chaotic preacher but was ultimately right died.
ОтветитьChef Goldblum
ОтветитьChaos Theory: That fact the lawyer suggest Malcolm's character to die changed the film's narrative to him dying on the toilet.
ОтветитьJeff Goldblum has a funny idea of what constitutes a "funny" story.
ОтветитьWell........... Ian Malcom does die in the BOOK
ОтветитьI think having the less likable lawyer survive and the funnier genius character who predicted things would go wrong be proved right in a horrible and tragic way would be more emotionally impactful and make the tone of the rest of the film more serious as an "Oh shit, this means anyone can die" moment, since as an audience we all expected the bigger actor and character to live and the less likable one with lesser known actor to die. But the lawyers had their shot and nature selected them for extinction
ОтветитьAfter being turned into a fly, and taking a 12 gauge point blank to the head, Jeff should be allowed to survive every movie he is in
ОтветитьAny 5 year old kid to his sibling:
Ok, now I'm gonna eat those cookies, and you're gonna stay there and tell if mom comes to the kitchen. Good?
hilarious story
ОтветитьSpielberg got that right as well !!!
ОтветитьThe lawyer was more memorable because he died.
ОтветитьDr. Ian Malcolm.
ОтветитьIn regards to his comment at the end about who wants to die, if I got to be in a Jurassic Park movie and got to pick my death, I would definitely consider it. (Probably impaled by an angry triceratops and the body would remain stuck on the horn)
ОтветитьLawyer comes back for the sequel Lawsuit World
ОтветитьI’m really happy that Spielberg didn‘t agree to this idea 😂🙏 Jeff Goldblum/Ian Malcolm = the best ❣️
ОтветитьHe doesn’t remember his name
Would’ve loved to heard him say it to Goldblum
Jeff Goldblum, Goldbluming
ОтветитьWasn’t it Jeff g that convinced Spielberg his character should live? Anyways I’m so amazed how each character is so true to the real actors 😅
ОтветитьIn all honesty that was a pretty bad story.
ОтветитьHilarious.
Ответить“I shouldn’t tell… oh why not.” 😂
Ответить"Life found a way" for Ian Malcolm to live and "The blood sucking lawyer" to die!
ОтветитьFunny how actors/actresses always have "bright ideas" about what their character should do or say... "I'm going to tell the director that my character should..." the actors don't write the script. Not even the director writes the script. The film company bought the script, as it was, for a reason. And you're being paid to play a role in the script. So, play the role in the script.
Imagine the producers seeing a proof of the film:
Producers: "Why is that character doing/saying that? That's not in the script."
Director: "Well, the actor thought it would be a good idea."
Producers: "Well, that's not what we paid for. Go back and redo it."
