My gf just moved in with me and i had to explain to her why i was excited to watch hours of a grown man playing a nancy drew game..... She doesnt get it.

I feel like I NEED to mention that I saw a carousel in France that had random animals in the inner circle........ and clown centaurs in the outer circle... CLOWN. CENTAURS.

Also, about the spoiler talk, I HATE spoilers, but for me spoilers and solutions are NOT the same thing.
I don't mind if someone gives me the solution to a puzzle in a game or helps me find an item or things like that. But I see as a spoiler when someone tells me something about the story.
With that being said, sometimes a spoiler is what got me into a game or a show. Like, I wasn't really planning on playing/watching, and I was spoiled of some story element that really piqued my interest, and I ended up adoring the thing. So yeah, I may be a bit sad that I've been spoiled, but at the same time, I wouldn't have played or watched AT ALL without that.

What year is this game supposed to take place in?

This was the first game I played by myself I think I had the typical early 2000s Nancy drew introduction where I was at a sleepover and we play treasure in the royal tower and got introduced to these games but this was the first game I ever played by myself like not with anyone else.

The constant clapping after every 2 month resub is something I’m gonna have to get used to

There's nothing better than randomly seeing if Moose has played another Nance game and finding that YES, he has!

The shorthand bit was awesome

I was sick from the covid vaccine when this was uploaded and it absolutely made my day, but I'm pretty sure I fell asleep multiple times so I'm looking forward to properly watching it for the first time.

To be fair, shorthand IS very mystery detective vibes. It's complicated and tedious, but at least it fits the genre more than say looking for worms under rocks for a month of in-game time.

This one gives me Detective Barbie vibes, which is kind of funny because if I recall correctly the first HerInteractive Nancy Drew game and the first Detective Barbie came out the same year. (Also funnily enough my favorite BrutalMoose streams to watch are the Nancy Drew and Barbie ones)

You are very respectful of people's privacy, and it shows in the way you do your investigating! You still reserve your cursor moving and hesitate like when you finally went in the dark corner for the newspaper. You really have to explore everything in the Nancy Drew games.

You are awesome in these games as far as entertaining and getting us through these games. When I watch you play them, I am remembering how my daughter and I played them. All the mistakes' hesitations questions and the big sigh when you finally get through it, like the shorthand exactly the same!! Please agree you do get a little education in a lot of different things in these games.

This was the first Nancy Drew game I ever played. I remember when I discovered Arglefumph's videos for the first time. Funnily enough, he started with this one as well.

I know this game like the back of my hand. It'll be fun seeing you play this.

I was probably too young when I started playing this. Some of the deaths would freak me out. The game over sequence for using the lathe without wearing any eye protection was pretty gruesome because of the descriptions afterwards. Plus just the wild child imagination of being skewered by the carousel poles. Ugh. Plus the exaggerated flipping and falling off your horse on the carousel when missing the brass ring.

Whenever I start one of these Nance streams, I think "this looks like fun!!" And an hour into the game it's like "this tween game is beyond my capabilities" 🤣

Man, every time someone's like "don't look in there, that's not yours" I want Nancy to turn around and be like "shut up, shithead, I'm a detective. I'll look where I please. You got a problem, talk to your boss."

This game and Nancy Drew: The Haunted Mansion scared the absolute shit out of me as a child, especially discovering that you can easily kill yourself with the carousel and the game just literally cuts to the title screen, no outro, Nancy presumably never found.

The subscribe notification sound is so annoying. Makes watching this unbearable
