In case you didn't see it also- Rachel Daly and her girlfriend got engaged today- looks like Sarah proposed to Rachel! Also, Mart Thomas (scotland, tottenham) and her fiance ellie leek are getting married over the christmas break, so there's one queer wedding to look forward to (among others I'm sure). (Mart's IG story today said one month to go until she gets to call her her wife). Lots of good storylines lately!

Jen contract with Bay runs through the end of 2025 with an option for 2026. Ali is also in Scotland with Jen, she mentioned on her show being in the UK and said she will be attending the USWNT vs England game tomorrow.

Jen's been busy this week. She has been in and around the Scotland camp in Edinburgh doing interviews for the BBC women's football weekly podcast and seeing the girls. She was working as pundit for BBC Scotland at the game last night. Good to see Jen so happy so down to earth and a great person. She is playing for Bay next season she said on the podcast a few weeks ago she needs to work on running faster due to difference in styles of play between nwsl and wsl.

Also if anyone wants to learn more about Jen there was a nice BBC Scottish football icons documentary about her l watched earlier year where she talks about her career and life outside football. Nice contributions from people around her. It is on iPlayer.

I am so happy for Ali! Of course I don’t know either of these people, but she’s been through a lot. Getting divorced is one thing, but going through that + grieving for a parent must have been sheer hell. Jen comes across as a warm and kind person. I wish them well. Out of respect for Sloane and Ocean I won’t comment on their other parent. I just hope she has good answers when they ask her why she violated their mother’s privacy, having caused enough pain.

Jen is Scottish. Calling someone "my love" or just "love" is not unusual. Definitely could be just Jen being a Scot, or she's gotten Americanized rather quickly & it carries much more meaning here.

I was the fan of Ash & Ali together. They were both my role models as well, my inspirations. But now, I really dislike Ashlyn. Those words she is putting into the world? Those fake info? Like... how awful must Ali feel... And their children have to watch this... And Sophia is there too with her kinda messy character...
