How to FIX AUDIO DRIFT in Davinci Resolve 17

This doesn't work for me. When I do this the beginning gets out of sync.
But your Audio is somehow "linked" as one audio under one track? Why''s that?
I have A1 (Camera) and A2 (External Audio). I also have them unlinked right now.

Any other ideas? Or what am I doing wrong?

Hey I recently upgraded to Davinci Resolve 17 from 16. I never had this audio sync issue in 16. But now every video that I import the audio goes out of sync. Is there a setting or something that is causing this? Makes me want to just go back to the original 16. :(

I use Geforce to record my games with instant replay I have used it for so long I never had problem with audio sync, but the recent update of Davinci made every video that i import the audio goes out of sync at last 3 minutes of the video, i have checked my framerates they match the timeline and the capture playback all at 60 fps, but still video audio goes out of sync after 2 minutes of playing it, i am pretty sure its the update did that because i have used resolve davinci for 3 years and edited all my videos from geforce and never had any problems relating to audio. hope you can advice me with anything):

Great example. However, the Fairlight screen of Resolve Studio 18 does not look like your example by default. Until the audio clip waveform representations are stretched vertically, the Elastic Wave cursor never even appears. With user interface elements on my screens stretched to match your video, the process worked as you demonstrated.

Elastic Wave adversely affects the sound quality. I'd never use it for this purpose. Altering the frame rate or clip speed is more work, but generally gives a better result, IMO.

i am having a probblem were in the editing my syncing is perfect but after i render part of the video is not synced ive been looking to fix this for the past 6 hours from finding yt content but jussst cant fix it i need help :(

Using this method too, but unfortunately, it’s too long for big projects with a lot of clips. I hope somebody will make a plugin to make this stuff work automatically.
