Wright's Lake Boy Scout Camp - July 15th 1995 (Scouts Recount Their Week)

Wright's Lake Scout Reservation was located at 6005 W 2 Mile Rd, Evart, MI 49631. It provided many memories for young scouters, as well as myself. I have more footage of Troop 7's trip to Wright's Lake Camp from the summer of 1995. Unfortunately, later that year they closed the camp to eliminate excess property.

"Camp closed after the 1995 season – Wrights Lake was shuttered by the Great Salk Trail Council in 1995 as a way to eliminate excess property after the Wolverine Council based in Ann Arbor, MI and the Land O' Lakes Council based in Jackson, MI merged in 1993."
