I give major kudos for the game being set during the heyday of Kain’s empire, before the eroded wasteland it became in the far future of soul reaver. It’s the one era of nosgoth we never really got to see

Goddamn this brings back fond memories. Never played the original Legacy of Khain but I do remember falling in love with Nosgoth the first time I played it. Shame they cancelled it a couple years ago, it had so much potential!

The game design and musical score were beautiful additions to LoK, or the Nosgoth mythos. If only there was a single player story mode that went with it!!!

Now nosgoth is playable

This game tried to take something that makes for an incredibly heavy single player experience and tried to turn it into a fast paced competitive multiplayer. I'm really not surprised this game failed so miserably, even though it was actually quite enjoyable.

This game was good.. and people were brainwashed... You could even record the game and paly it with slow motion do cool videos etc..

A lot of people are giving Nosgoth unnecessary hate. Yeah, it does feel disappointing to have only a multiplayer game after all the years (and I'm an old fart who's played the series since the beginning), but that's not the peoples fault who made Nosgoth: they were hired to make a multiplayer game and they did - and despite issues (it was still in Beta!) it was a neat game with potential. It's a shame Square let all the effort go to waste (and it's also a shame that we haven't got a singleplayer game set in the world: you want to be angry at someone, be angry at Square).

I dont get why they shut it down. It takes people and money to maintain the game of course, but if they can stop those useless updates, it wouldnt even take them much to keep the game going

The world of Nosgoth will be resurrected again within another project, soon.

Sounds more like it came out of Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula movie, but it still does resonate with the LoK atmosphere. I think it needs a little more screech and electronic elements like stuff from Soul Reaver and Defiance. Sad to see that this game didn't give the series the revival it needed.

Still can't believe this game is gone. As soon as this theme starts I see the loading screen..and in my thoughts it goes through and I can choose a game..
