"omg, triple camera guy!" Nice. I love hearing the same groove swung and straight, back to back. It really showcases the different feels and helps you appreciate the qualities of each one.

Lucid, clear & intelligible explanation. Useful on-screen graphics too. For my money, more user-friendly and gig ready advice than those of Drumeo etc.

Very clear explanation again thanks - and well demonstrated. Mind if I ask what that Gretsch kit is? I just bought a kit with square badges but no USA as yours seems to be but cant track down the year...1980?

Great Lesson! I like how you go through the different ways to that you can swing the beat. The subtle change in where it swung makes it sound so different.

I can’t tell the difference in the last example. You say you are playing “straight 16th notes” but I can only hear and see 8th notes. I’m new to drumming and would really appreciate anyone’s advice here.

Im doing music for about 20 years playing a couple of instruments including drums and I can say I barely hear a difference. In the last example it is kinda recognizable but only kind of and in the others- for me not really.
Id really like to see that in logic if the notes really have been placed tightly and consistently that 1/232492 later in the other takes cause my ear says no.
