This is from my class lecture on how to repair a hole in a TIG project. Coming from the thin gauge stainless steel world, we tended to use fusion welding as the main process, not go for filler every time. But, when there is a hole, you have no option but to use filler.
Please know that the #1 rule in TIG welding is patience. It took about 11 minutes to fill a hole about 3/16" or so in diameter.
