Smiled through the whole thing. She would not have done well in front of a jury for more than five minutes. That's how long it took me to realize she is a total huckster. While the facts that supported her guilty plea were being read, she chatted and laughed with her female lawyer. No respect for the court. And in her "tearfully" read statement, she blamed everyone but herself for her shameful actions.

Oh and by the way can I break all the rules and leave Georgia before my probation is set up? My flight to Florida is at 1 pm today.

I was very underwhelmed by the Ellis performance. She appears to be reluctant to take responsibility for the serious damage inflicted on the American people and seeks to blame others for the conspiracy that she knowingly and willingly participated in. Ellis is very lucky to have avoided doing serious time in prison.
