Ok…shocking response by trainer….but then again not so shocking…this brotha thru Caleb under the bus then crappppped Resindez’s performance as “he won cuz caleb dident lisson”. Wtf…this is what ruins boxing …selfishness and quite frankly BS..I hope Caleb has his security escort this pos out… 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️.

Caleb reminds me of the Indy 500 pace car: Always frontrunning but not built to win the race. It's time for Caleb to call it a career. He's absorbed severe punishment in 3 of his last 5 fights, and it's just not going to happen for him.

There is honest on plant, plant was fatigue too early in the fight he didn’t do what the coach was trying to ask him to do to win the early rounds without tiring yourself out that’s why he lost the fight. The fight was nowhere close the win went to the right guy. The shit with the hands injured I ain’t buying it.

This is why he should NOT have been given no damn interim belt for beating McCumby! Man is 2-3 in his last 5 fights lost to David then beats McCumby who had like 1 fight in 5 years & wasnt even ranked & they give plant a interim belt smh Canelo is the undisputed he has all 4 belts 4 belts is more than enough! STOP handing these guys belts especially when he didnt do NOTHING you dont get a interim title for beating McCumby & a cancer surviving chemo recovering Dirrell Boxing needs to start having dignity again!

I’d say that’s one disadvantage lighter skin fighters have is that you can visibly see the damage accumulate. Just sucks because they may be tough enough to take the damage but the opponent will keep pouring it on

They were trying to win the fight by stealing rounds with the jab. At some point Caleb had to bite down and fight and he was getting hurt badly in the exchanges. Me personally I think the game plan was awful

These fighters are not as rich as they portray themselves to be. Compared to the non fighters, the top boxers maybe make 100K a year on average given their expenses and the fact that they only fight once a year typically.

Let’s keep it a bean. Caleb clearly underestimated this guy. He really had one solid performance his entire career against Uzcategui. The rest were wins over good fighters past their prime (Truax, Dirrel) and a bunch of nobodies. When he stepped up, he got stepped on. He doesn’t gas out because he’s out of shape. He gasses out because he moves inefficiently trying to be slick/cutesy to impress judges by dodging shots and gawking at his opponent instead of putting in work. It finally caught up with him because this requires youthful assets (reflexes and stamina) and 32/33 is slightly past peak. Take into account he’s been inactive plus the beating he took against Benavides a few fights ago and there u have it. His career age probably closer to 40. Mccumby fight was the writing on the wall.

This is amazingly amateur. The [ one trainer ] per Pugilist is outdated. No one is saying that or even comprehends that. I have reached out to many of these ‘notable’ trainers and they have refused to add other brains to propel — the Pugilist. The [ head ] trainer is usually selfish, a passive or an overt limelight seeker, egotistical, and the first detriment to their business—partner Pugilist. How can one person see all six sides of a vehicle by standing at the front? One loss big deal. This ‘trainer’ is speaking like this is the 10th consecutive loss. He should not be talking. There are good losses people. This is one of them. Go review Archie Moore and Roberto Duran. Collectively, their losses portray that each loss was very good psychologically, physically, and experientially because their legacy exemplifies such. In furtherance, it also depends on the individual Pugilist and his awareness of the limitations thereof to assemble a limitless team. This interview is saying a lot. Many cannot hear or discern. ©️Coach Hilario 2025
