Not gonna lie the Oilers scare me. They are the best equipped team to beat the panthers. That being said they are certainly more physical this year but if there is anything the Carolina series showed is that if you try to play physical the panthers will smoke you. The Oilers also have better depth than last year. But so do we! Our 3rd and 4th line have been massive contributors and think they’ll give the Oilers trouble. So long as Bob does what he does best I think the Panthers got this. Even without home ice advantage. In my opinion cats got this in six. We split at Edmonton, split at home then panthers take back to back games to end it!

I believe if we get the first two at Edmonton, we win.

Both these teams started all their series on the road to great results. Panthers starting on the road and dropped a couple “off the gas” close out games at home while the Oilers lost that close one at home in game 3 vs Vegas. Shaping up to be a heck of a ride to the finish!

You miss one important thing: Oilers have been better on the road than Panthers, by a small margin. Also, Oilers tend to be extremely strong at home unlike Panthers who seem to be a little bit weaker, at home.

My biggest concern is that Oilers have largely escaped their first three rounds without much physicality. Hyman being the exception. Barkov and Roddy have taken bad head shots, likely concussions. Mikkolas shoulder injury. Lusto likely concussion. Rino knee injury. Chucky can barely skate with that groin. Greer hurt.

Mikkola and Rino did return for game 5, but both looked terrible. All we can do is hope the extra few days are enough for them to heal. Frustrating when teams have injured players playing because it’s hard to account for that as a fan.

Dallas wouldn't even defend their teammate who got slashed with a stick and knocked out of a game. That aint happening over here, we will bust that ass. We are not Dallas, Edmonton better get ready to get hit.

This series is gonna be tough for us Cats fans. I think back to the end of last years SCF, and those images of McJesus in that locker room while we were lifting the cup are still kind of fresh. What a ridiculous, biased analysis

So, let me get this correct. You think the Panthers have a better chance to win the Stanley Cup because the Oilers touched the Western Conference trophy! Taking that as your edge is weak. It's not about who you picked or how well you are playing but that only the Oilers can beat the Oilers is too funny. It may be true, but it won't be because they touched a trophy. I'd be scared by your superstition. The Oilers didn't touch it last year and the Oilers and LOST. This year they did. So, since the Panthers did not touch it last year or this year, the superstition will be broken and now is based on skill and desire. No team has more desire to win it more this year then the Oilers. Also, Panthers beat Leafs in seven games without their stars showing up. Can't see that happening against the skill of the Oilers.

You forgot that Draisatl, Kane and Nurse are healthy this year. This will be the best series in this years playoff for sure
