Finally,
We believers have a heroic and professional video that removes Any and All doubt that we landed on the Moon. A year ago we invited a new friend to dinner a gentleman that retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory. He was in space and rocket engineering department for over 30 years. Somehow at dinner Apollo came up and this gentleman quickly said in the most serious voice "We didn't land on the Moon! All were elaborate staged movies"

Check out what they did following their historic mission 😂. None of them remained at NASA. None of them wanted to go back into space. It's like they needed to recover and hide away from the historic whopping deception they helped with. 😂. Having read what each of them did in their life following the moon landing, I'm even more convinced this whole thing was a complete sham

When bluff, outspoken Australian Astronomer Richard van der Riet Woolley, 49, stepped off his plane at London Airport last week to take over his duties as Britain’s new Astronomer Royal, he promptly let fly with some observations that shook space enthusiasts to their dedicated core. Gruffed Woolley, in response to reporters’ questions about the prospects for interplanetary travel: “It’s utter bilge. I don’t think anybody will ever put up enough money to do such a thing . . . What good would it do us? If we spent the same amount of money on preparing first-class astronomical equipment we would learn much more about the uni verse . . . It is all rather rot.”

Very interesting question from one of the audience at 39.24 - almost like he suspected the hoax! Also, they've edited out the answer to the guy's question about what stars they could see! Dead giveaway that this is full on fake - they NEVER landed on the moon! Certainly not in 1969 anyway 🇦🇺

It is altogether illogical to make assumptions in one direction or the other.
Assuming the landing was fake, yes the somber tone and lack of emotion is a bit odd. Unless these are 3 career military men living in the 1960’s who have been told not to show emotion their entire lives for fear of being viewed as weak. They are the faces of America’s, and the world’s, "most outstanding" SOLDIERS. Not Barney the dinosaur here to sing a song.
Now, assuming the landing happened, I see not one mention of PTSD. These are career soldiers, test pilots, and engineers, who are most likely still in a state of shock. They were immediately quarantined for at least 30 days after being in a Prius hurtling through space ONTO ANOTHER PLANETARY BODY.
This video proves nothing other than, for some reason, these men who are trained to be reserved in public… are acting reserved in public.

I find it extraordinary that there are so many commenters here who want to go with the "fake moon landing" theory and allow that interpretation to influence what they see on the screen. It is true that Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins are not particularly comfortable in this environment, but that is easily explained.

To mention just a few things: these men all had military backgrounds, and two of them were test pilots. Aldrin had a doctorate in astronautics from MIT, Armstrong had studied engineering at Purdue and was one of the pilots in the X-15 rocket plane program. These men were all immersed in highly technical, demanding careers, and had no training in public relations or media. During their formative years, it is unlikely that they ever dealt with the press or the public, when it came to their work. They knew, intellectually, that flying to the moon was a big deal and that they would receive a lot of attention. But that knowledge could not have prepared them for the reality of this initial press conference, where they had to explain to the press corps and the world what they had done.

Given the pressure of the unusual situation, I think they handled themselves pretty well. There are moments of genuine humor--Collins in particular got some laughs with his dry understatement of some of the challenges he was facing in flying his spacecraft while simultaneously operating two cameras. As for them looking at each other, it was clear that they had to coordinate their presentation with the images and video played on the screen (images that we cannot see here, unfortunately), and hand off the various segments to each other. They were not media professionals, so a little awkwardness is to be expected.

The Apollo 11 astronauts were not trained media performers, and expecting them to emote and perform like seasoned actors upon their return from the moon is not realistic. They were pilots and engineers who found themselves involved with the most important venture of their time and performed their demanding, highly technical and dangerous jobs with distinction. I find the modesty and sense of dedication that they exhibit at this press conference to be quite becoming, and a credit to the nation that raised them.
