Blender sculpt + modelling, easy way
ОтветитьReally useful 👏👏
Ответитьmy mom said that your mom has to call my mom before she decides to buy zbrush for me
ОтветитьThat junk confusing blender won't run on my computer. Zbrush will run on Fred Flinstone's laptop. There's a reason.
ОтветитьIf I buy the perpetual model, am I ineligible for updates? If I want to update I’ll need to spend another 900 on a new version?
ОтветитьMy Wife uses real clay to sculpt her figurines, and is now looking to move commercial, rather than creating one offs, sge wants to produce multiple copies. 3d scanning is not an option as the rech just is not there, so it looks like the way forward is swapping over to 3d sculpting :)
So the question is which of two, should be our choice, we are not interested in animation or movies, just creating sculpts that can be 3d printed with a quality finish.
Thank you :)
what in the clickbait
Ответитьblender is good only for enviormental maps. not for modeling, not for sculpting, not for animation. forget it. the amount of bullshit you have to go through with blender is amazing. they expact you to make a human character out of a fucking cube. but zbrush is too godamm expensive
Ответитьyh mean I love modeling and sculpting something, I wanna buy zbrush fr but its too cheap for me (living in turkey btw)
ОтветитьOr pirate zbrush..
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention buying a simple cheap drawing tablet would do wonders for sculpting
ОтветитьNow, another point.
Trying to import sculpted models from Zbrush to Blender, so you could start doing Animations, and rigging etc, is a pain.
Blender is a better overall tool, whike Zbrush dumps it all into Sculpting.
sure Blender is great but a special tool like ZBrush is irreplaceable in the pipeline.
ОтветитьI have Zbrush 2022 (perpetual). I absolutely WILL NOT be 'upgrading' to 2023 for 670 MFing dollars. Ofer Alon made an amazing piece of software. Pixologic spent years building up goodwill with that software's user base. Maxon pissed in everyones face and thinks we should be happy about it.
ОтветитьI have been using Blender since 2007, yes since it as all Pink and Gray all over the Interface. Yet, I would use ZBrush for sculpting any day over sculpting with Blender. Blender is an amazing software. It truly is. ZBrush is just absolutely tailored for sculpting. That's all I have to say.
ОтветитьBeen trying to get hard surface details from zBrush into my Blender projects for almost three days and now . . . zbrush randomly seems to have stopped exporting displacement maps altogether. Can't even figure it out, it's crazy. Seems like a total waste of $360 for a year sub, every single other piece of software I have used I pick up in like three days, zBrush is always a pain.
ОтветитьZbrush isn't free?
ОтветитьPor que no los dos? 😜 I use blender for blocking out and minor details and then transfer to zbrush for more detailed sculpting.
ОтветитьZbrush needs to take better care of their perpetual license holders. Especially those who’ve got dual seats (windows/Mac) that Zbrush can’t even do anything with on M1 and beyond.
ОтветитьHoly hell so many ZBrush fan boys getting their lingerie in a knot
ОтветитьYou’ll own nothing and be happy. Thank the slave masters at the WEF for pushing developers to treat their customers like slime
ОтветитьBlender isn't really user friendly.
ОтветитьZBrush remains king, 90+% of studios use it, if you want a job as an AAA character artist, you need to learn ZBrush, as for Blender, if all you want is to make cartoony/stylized characters, and if you're not on a clock, why not, but if you want power and speed, go ZBrush, or at least 3D Coat, not Blender!!! 😉
ОтветитьI'm still confused on a zebra slices seen since they've been bought out or sold their soul and betrayed their Community. If I bought a license years ago can I still get 2023 as a free upgrade or do I have to start paying for 2023
Ответитьi want zbrush, because the fidelity of SCULPTING is just 100x times better than blender.
Ответитьlmao, buy?! 🏴☠
Ответить🏴☠️❤️
ОтветитьI just want a job for fk sake...
I have pretty good knowledge of Blender but no one hires blender bois
It's all Maya, Zbrush, Houdini.
. Autodesk & Adobe & Maxon
This one is the best "watch before buy" video I've ever watched, and the most realistic...
Ответитьwhat do u think about Nomad Sculpt?
ОтветитьTorrent, thank you for helping me not to think about buying
ОтветитьI wanna learn it. And i know that zbrush core was a pay to have. Now i only see its a subscription... i dont like that. so.. no other options and now i should try blender?
Ответитьsee how maxon is going to slowly ruin it....
ОтветитьI'm not going to school or planning to work as a artist just trying to create armors and weapons for games I like.
If I can do it all in blender textures and paintingall that I'd rather not pay hundreds. Really frustrating learning this stuff so far.
Question is Zbrush Core in maxon(not mini) still a subscription model or is it perpetual?
ОтветитьStep six get a vpn
Ответитьlike this, but why mother? 😆
ОтветитьYes, Blender has some great sculpting tools; probably enough for the casual user. Yet, there is no other software on Earth like ZBrush. Nothing matches its capabilities. It's built for artists to make art as quickly and easily as possible. Once you're accustomed to the UI, you can move nearly unencumbered. It is a fast and efficient path to creation. Blender has some tools that can accomplish a lot of things, but not with the efficiency and completeness of ZBrush.
ОтветитьWhat if I’m an art teacher looking to looking to change career paths? I’ve sculpted using clay and have Dee understand big of the elements and principles of design.
ОтветитьUnfortunately it's too late now for anyone who wants a perpetual license for Zbrush
EDIT: Turns out that I was wrong, you just have to look a little harder to find it
Definitely talk to you Mother first lol.
ОтветитьZbrush is amazing at sculpting but its also its Achilles heel. If you want to sculpt, animate characters, build assets, render complex environments with volumetric's, setup particle effects and simulations... well in that case there is only a couple of options. Maya ($1,785/year) or Blender (free)
ОтветитьI started in Blender & now I'm having a hard time getting comfortable in ZBrush. If I could do it all over again, I would just start with ZBrush. I don't care about any of the other Blender features. I just want to sculpt for now. I guess it depends on what your goals are. I'm having to change a lot of settings in ZBrush to feel more comfortable navigating the Ui. I do a whole LOT more Googling than sculpting at this point. I'm glad they added sticky keys for changing the brush size because I like the auto-sizing of the brush in Blender rather than dragging an annoying slider around. (Still hate the slider being in the way though) I have a tendency to like whatever I start with more than anything else, unfortunately. I am aware that ZBrush has many more features, but the clunky Ui is super old school, circa 2001, to me. I will continue to make menus & customize what it will allow me to. If you are like me, start with Core Mini so you get used to the interface at least. lol
ОтветитьAbsolutely. You're hitting the nail on the head with this video. I remember when I got into photography originally I thought - ah if only I buy this next expensive lens - I'll be an amazing photographer. Thankfully the guy who got me into photography saved me a ton of money by saying I should just go with the native lens I had for a few months before throwing any more money out. Many years later I'm still a mediocre photographer, but I don't have to live under a bridge, because of blowing all my money on lenses in the first days of excitement. And it's exactly the same thing with Zbrush.
ОтветитьWhere can you buy zbrush for 20 as a student! The lowest I can find is close to 500$
Ответить
