So how do you use the map after you download the map?

"How to save" is not the same as "How to use" (in the title of your video). You show saving maps. You don't show USING the downloaded maps. My guess is you go into the menu, select Offline Maps, and click on the map image to load that offline map. However, I don't see anything in the Google Maps screen that lets you know you are using online versus offline maps. Well, initially there is a prompt at the bottom saying "Search & navigate will work offline in this area" (and a Manage button that takes you back to the offline map selection). That prompt disappears the moment you do anything with the map, scroll the POI buttons, or click in the Search bar. There is no option to toggle to an interactive/live/online map. I really wish there was an overt indicator showing that I was using either a live or offline map.

Offline maps have reduced location accuracy if battery saver mode is active, so I get a warning when loading an offline map and tapping anywhere in it. No such warning if I disable battery saving mode, load an offline map, and tap in the map.

You said hot to use but never showed how to used the saved maps!!!
