This feels more like Friezas Crazy Finger Beam. Cool, but bot nearly as visceral and powerful as sky the third made me think it was.

KEVIN!!! I’m so glad he still waxes poetic while he annihilates you like with OG Spear of Loa/Ur, and the pose is perfect. I’m so glad they’ve translated his personality perfectly nearly 20 years after his last playable appearance.

rean S Budget Attack

Kevin finally got the upgrade S-craft I always wanted to see nice!

I was fully expecting Rean to improve after these 2 years, but this went beyond expectations. The way he transitions into the two attacks from the beginning into flowing rapidly around the enemies with such speed and precision while being calm and sure of himself as he handles the blade and even after the insane multi attack, he transitions into a 4th attack. I already considered him worthy of Divine Blade back in Cold Steel 4, but I’m incredibly impressed with his development in his swordplay and his character development from how more confident he is now.

Rean actually has so much aura now. he just holds his sword with more confidence. It’s really nice seeing him become that man he is now.

I can't help but feel like if they had given Kevin a S-craft like that in the Sky games, it would've killed the game's engine!

Seeing this gameplay makes me wonder - will Altina and Rean still be using ARCUS units, or will they use Xiphas? I’m thinking the latter because of Marduk probably providing them the technology.

I noticed Altina's S-Craft show how confidant and happy she is, nicely culminate from her character arcs since Cold Steel 3.
