ОтветитьYou can do a Business Masters with a BA in English Language ? is that true ?
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI am doing my Msc in Accounting and Finance from Uni of Leicester, took the decision mid-career (after 5 years as an accoutnant + 4 years of employment as project manager in Big 4), Reasons: looking into a transition in career in finance, got a little scholarship, needed a significant break from work, 11 CIMA exemptions, travel abroad and adventure, opening new career prospects, its technically only 10 months, hopes of pay rise, semi serious about PHD so thats another window that can open up. ) Bottom line is you cant ever be 100% sure about the educational/Career path you take- sometimes you got to dive into it and see what doors open. You can earn money all your life

ОтветитьWell done pal
ОтветитьIs it common that a student in data science (msc) get a continue PhD degree studying?
ОтветитьNice video, I did my MBA while working full time, with the OUBS, it made a big difference at the time to my employment prospects, graduated in 1999 were you even born then ;-) I'm now 56 and just about to submit my dissertation for MSc in Finance. You need experience for an MBA, you can't truly understand the value of what you learn without that in my opinion. When employing people (financial services in my case), for me it's about the experience and the persons attitude, willingness to learn and develop, but once satisfied with that, it's a sift through qualifications. I'll always take the person over the education though. I prefer a blend of experience (just a personal thing) so 3 jobs of 3 years each, giving the opportunity to develop perspectives, preferable to 9/10 years in one job, especially when young. Don't settle until your 35+ My Masters (nearly two Masters now) were defintitely worth it, the current MSc in Finance won't pay the same dividends as my MBA, but I'm older, have an established career, did it for my own personal development not career development. Good luck to all.
Ответитьhow did you get commercial experience before getting your grad job?
ОтветитьGreat video! Would you do a video on the need to be "polished" when applying? I remembered the BBC film "How to Break into the Elite" and was wondering what's your and your colleagues views?
Ответитьgreat video! I did a psychology masters and learned a lot , was intense work tho! great hearing your perspective, I also post similar advice content on my channel :)
ОтветитьLast year I opted to do a Master's because I wasn't sure I will secure a graduate job after countless rejections. Moving on to today - I've almost completed my masters and have been accepted to join a graduate programme in September. Excited for the future!
ОтветитьInteresting video!! I did a creative degree at university and though it was great for opportunities/experience. I think nowadays with online content it’s easy to branch out and learn the way yourself unless your career path requires masters etc
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts?! Master's or no master's degree... 📚🎓
