Does this copy it to the sd card or the internal system when you're dumping a cartridge?

I can't get to work for me it said the rom file can max size is less then 5GB

does the hshop also have the dlc for games for example the fire emblem games have alot of dlc that have content locked behind them or because i have it in Cia format can i just treat the dlc like any other game?

So what would happen if you tried to install the nds.trim file like you would a 3ds game?

I put the file in the same folder as the decryptor but my black box that opens never says "Decrypting", it just instantly finishes and there is no (decrypted) tag on the file.

Very new to this whole 3DS rom hacking and have zero clue on a lot of terminology. So, if I install a cart onto my 3DS where does the save data for the digital copy go? The SD card or system memory? And can I transfer the saves from my cartridge game into my digital version?

I don't have a roms folder already on my SD card. Is that a folder you made yourself or one that came with the hacked software?
I don't want to make an extra folder and mess things up on my SD card.

Edit: Also wondering if the same method works for NDS files

could you share your roms folder with us? that would make it easier to get roms that I want and would be a huge timesaver

question, can you run the 3ds roms from the sd card instead of installing them to system memory? or is that how it works? I have all my 3ds roms on a sd card, but vid shows how to install them to system. wont system memory get full fast?

So i deleted pilotwings on my sd card but i can still play the game. how come?

when I'm in godmode9 and I select the rom I want the option "NCSD image options" isn't there. Anything I can do?

It seems easier to use .cia files? Both from set up and e.g. Pokemon Ultra Sun's .3ds file is 4.2GB so doesn't work on a FAT32 format card (max file size 4GB), the .cia is luckily only 3.6GB

I got a new old stock “new” 3DS from Japan, I hacked it in Japanese (with an iPad and the google translate camera pointed at it) and changed the region to EU following the 3dshacks guide site to get English.

Region change was pretty straight forward, but I think you need to hack it first, so the minor difficulty is doing that with all the menus in Japanese

if you install a game cart on the homebrewed 3ds will the physical game cart still be playable on other 3ds?

but can you do step 3 without having a Modded 3DS?

Where did you download your roms from? I can't find any places that has decrypted .cia files. All the decrypted ones are .3ds files. When I try opening a cia file that is encrypted, win rar asks for a password. I don't have a password so I cannot get to the .cia file.

Can anyone tell me how to delete stuff off the home menu that I dont want? Like old game demos.

Still having a small hang-up and they would be if a 3DS game exceeds the file cluster size of the fat32 SD card format how do we get these games to run on the Cfw !?
