Is good thing VPN are harder to block than adblocker because is cheap for me because my family own vpn I can.switch to Kyiv so is more cheaper where I get them

OK, I plan to put this theory to the test on December 31. My 1-month free trial expires Jan. 1, 2024. I signed onto the PREMIUM plan for $13.99 and yes, I see no way to top-up to the annual plan. WEIRD! And I haven't received any email reminders of the upcoming expiration. So, it looks like I will have to CANCEL Dec. 31.

When you cancel before rejoining. What happens to your video uploads? Do you have to re-upload?

Great posting, I was unaware of the annual billing offering. Even though YT Premium is one of my most used services I was considering dropping them because of the recent price increase, which I felt was unjustified. One question-I also use YT Music (including with premium) which I love and adds great value to the YT Premium subscription. If I cancel my monthly billing and later sign up for YT Premium on an annual basis, will I lose all the playlists and favorited music I have? That would be a huge negative to me.

Thanks for the heads up Michael. I'm currently monthly. I suppose I like YTP enough to pay up front for 2024. Strange how the cost of yearly YTP matches cost of yearly Prime Video to which I'm already subscribed. I'm checking out reviews of MAX and Netflix. So far it seems to be a choice of which one sucks less :)

Yeah I've known about this asinine issue but the real problem for me is there is no Family Annual Plan. Unfortunately YTP is not the only 'hidden' if you want to call that annual plan for streaming. Others you must also cancel and then switch to annual.
