FINALLY AMY MOTHERFUCKIN ROSE GETS HER TIME!!!

With Maria's death scene, I wasn't really bothered. I knew they were gonna find a way to get around it, and this was honestly more graphic than a straight up gunshot. I don't know how the Sonic community will feel about this, but I thought it was a good work-around.

I like Shadow coming from a meteor because it could lead to Black Doom & the Black Arms, especially since he doesn’t even know where he came from. Great setup for a Shadow movie.

I also think Metal Sonic having clones makes things more interesting, especially since the main one can be distinguished from its gray-colored copies, especially if they try to adapt Neo Metal from Heroes.

As for Amy, I’m so glad she’s finally gonna be added to the mix, and there’s lots of ways they could go with her. A friend of mine said they’d love to see elements from CD, Frontiers, and the Sonic OVA for Metal. Either way, this cookery needs to be studied!

Im pretty sure Eggmans dead. He was at the center of a black hole chaos explosion. And Jim Carey has always said he only wanted to play the role for a limited time. This is a perfect end point for a nice arc.

Those robots aren’t Omega, in the original SA2 they were GUN bots. And when shadow pick up that ring that’s one of his inhibiter rings.

i imagine they will make that the best metal sonic is like the overlord and rest are just his minions, the weak ones kinda look grey also; making him the Overlord also would fit since Heroes is the next game after SA2 iirc,
before i was wondering if they would ever do metal sonic in a movie considering that it already was a thing in the animated one, but since the whole trilogy is really succesful then i see they actually have a reason to "revisit" the thing
tbh i wonder if Eggman will be still evil after this movie, they seemed to lean into the happy ending of SA2 really hard

This post credit scene makes me think of Amy's dream. She loves Sonic so she dreams of rescuing him from an army of Metal Sonics hoping he will love her after that.

Awesome movie, loved it. However, i heard nothing but how MIND BLOWING AND GAME CHANGING the post credits would be, and they were cool and all, but pretty much 100% expected. Nothing earth shattering or surprising, and people called it months ago. Still, looking forward to #4 🙏

I'm only kinda worried that "we must search the 7 chaos emeralds" is never gonna be a thing in those movies since they're seemingly just.. inside the master emerald all the time? Also, I'm kinda sad that shadow's inhibitor rings weren't explained at all, which sadly made the impact of the scene where he took them off pretty weak compared to let's say Sonic X or sa2, there should've been a short scene explaining their meaning and what'd happen if he took them off

the metal sonic in all the games returns so many times because theres always been an army. the metal sonic is supposed to learn sonics movements and adapt over time, becoming stronger each time theyre defeated. this could also explain why amy made such quick work with them, these are the first ones sent out to learn sonics moves

As a shadow fan for his backstory, mostly, the movie couldn't realistically surpass all my expectations. Yet that didn't stop me from overall enjoying the film. Could do with less bad gags and jokes though. Maria was one of my favorite parts of the film.

Like with any shadow media, it just left me wanting more time spent on his relationship with maria.

I think the next ones gonna be a heros/CD adapt. Heros came right after SA2, Metal is the big bad. Eggman is there but hes being tricked and metal is using him as a disguise to throw off everyone.

Im thinkng were gonna get a mix of the two games. Jim carry will stay 'dead' for a few movies, And maybe Stone and Metal are gonna be the big bads. Metal will probably become metal overlord by the end of it, and stone cant controll metal anymore.

Maybe this is looking too deep, but the bunny face Maria drew on Shadow's capsule could be a reference to Feels the Rabbit (the original idea for Sonic)?? Because when I saw what Maria drew I was like, "why a rabbit? A bow tie too? that's kind of silly but then again she is a kid." But who else in the entire sonic series is both a rabbit AND has a bow tie? Feels the Rabbit, an old design (not canon, however) has a red bow tie. With all the references and easter eggs in this movie it'd be so hard to imagine that this was just a coincidence! So that'd be one hell of a deep cut into the franchise and I'm here for it. (If you don't know who Feels the Rabbit is, don't worry, just search him up. I only know who he is because of Sonic Superstars :P)

I am thinking that they should use the song "Sonic Boom" from Sonic CD on the 4th movie.
