When Kirk gets in the turbo lift and orders "bridge", he communicates with Spock and thinks he has things under control. So he tells Spock "I'll change first, then." And diverts to go to his quarters first. I still say that the "one minute" in the trailer was meant to be used with Sulu. Listening carefully and you will "we grant you" is spliced together with " one minute". Simply the trailer's way to make things seem more dangerous and urgent than they happen to be in the final episode.

Apparently, Shatner loves to walk around with an oiled up torso. Lol!

That close up shot of the monitor it's probably a stock shot that they just insert a new video in the middle of. Instead of keep having to set up a close up shot each time. Though honestly it probably is the same monitor they move around from set to set like the chairs.

I've not spotted that McCoy transporter gaff before!
I think I will just add it to the pile of evidence that people can in fact move around during transport 😉

I am told that the Red Shirt in the corridor where you pointed out the sleeve rank issue is Jonathan Goldsmith who later became "The Most Interesting Man in the World" from the XX Lager Beer commercials. Could you looked deeper into this?
