I guess Jennifer Lawrence is not about to suffer for her art. Considering how much she was getting paid for this film ($500,000 for the first “Hunger Games” film, $10 million for the second and at least $40 million for the third and fourth movies in the series), I think I could have lost the weight.

People put too much expectations on film versions of movies. Go in without expectations and you'll actually enjoy it instead of sitting there criticizing everything for 2 hours. I remember when Finnick was cast and everyone was saying Sam Claflin was too UGLY for the part?? He's NOT ugly by any means, but people were expecting some God-like specimen or something. Like, chill out. It's fine if it's not exactly by the book.

Loved the casting only issue to me was Peeta not having blue eyes, why no colored contacts?!

Actually, another thing off about Peeta and Katniss is the heights. Peeta was supposed to be much taller than Katniss at 5'10, and Katniss at 5'5.

Effie wasnt really made to be a serious character but she holds such depth and presents a really loveable character

i love all the actors in the cast, even if they didn’t look exactly like the descriptions then they BROUGHT it with their acting because i never questioned who was who.. i was like yeah that’s definitely them

Unnecessary video to be honest

What I don't like about the movies is, that the districts are poor as fuck, but all the characters look so shiny, healthy and clean, to be honest. I wished that the big gap between the rich capitol and the poor disctricts would have been more visible. More shocking. In my head the disctricts and the people were starving, dirty, sick, weak, depressed, grey, dark, hopeless. I had pictures of heartbreaking situations in my mind. In the movies Katniss etc. were to... to chic to be honest haha with intact clothes etc. It seems like the pretty american poorness, not real, painful and uncomfortable enough.
But I like, that Jennifer Lawrence refused to lose weight. At the end the movies were okay, I liked all the actors.

I loved all the looks in the book's and movie's. So creative and beautiful/handsome. Expect for Snow and Coin of course. And I'll admit it too a while to get used to Effie.
