I think there's a reason why they don't let that info out. One, other kids or people might discriminate against Sarada and, Two, Sarada herself might take it the wrong way and get some sort of mental strain/stress at a vulnerable age. We've seen how Itachi got when he was exposed to the ruthless nature of the shinobi world at such a young age, right? He clearly became disturbed and that definitely shaped his screwed-up mindset. I'm sure Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto don't want none of that to affect Sarada negatively. So they restrict such info and tell Sarada once she's mature and old enough to hear it.

While watching this episode i feel very bad for poor sarada she didn't even talk to his father and miss him alot.we know sasuke had important things to do but not being with your family is too much sarada watching his classmates with having fun with their father and sarada was alone that makes my heart ache.
I know he will come later in the series but for a child like her not getting dad's love is too much for her.
At this moment i want Itachi to come back by Edo tensei and beat some sense into sasuke.

Sarada could need glasses because Sasuke’s current Eyes are good, but the ones currently linked to his DNA (his regular MS) were near blind when he last had them. The blindness affect of the MS could affect and change his DNA to a molecular level which is why Sarada need glasses, the blindness is inherited.

It sounds kinda dumb but this is magical eye powers we are talking about
