A vacuum is for dust, breadcrumbs, hairs... not things that can be easily picked up with a broom.

As an Indian, the broom would have done 1000 times better.

Yeah, ryobi probably won because Dyson is a household vacuum and Ryobi is a massive, heavy commercial vacuum.

The technology and actual statistics of the dyson are completely superior to the ryobi. Its not even close in suction power.

I as an Asian doesn't approve this vacuuming. The debris is way too big! If I left this on floor my parents will whack the life out of me😅

Dude, you should take off the brush and let the big materials suck straight into the vacuum, and the rest you can use the brush again to clean up the dust and smaller particles... Just don't make your life harder, every vacuum should have able to done it

If you have a dyson and so much debris. Just detach the head and suck the large particles so it wont scatter around, then the rest with the brush roller. Done.

Anyone who is not a complete idiot knows this test is flawed. The vacuums were not made to pick up huge bits like those. That's what the broom and dustpan are for.

Screw both and get the newest Shark Stratos stick vac, it literally can’t clog just like their vertex but with more power and more room for debri and lifts everything! I just had to return the Ryobi dual brush stick vac (breaks my heart bc I wanted it for its battery capabilities) because it clogged so often it wasn’t worth the effort to continue to stop mid vac and completely break down including both rollers to dig out dog hair! That and the 4amp batteries died within 20-30min on eco. Don’t get it if your dog sheds or if you have large rooms!

I don't think I have ever used a Dyson or any vacuum using the roller for that kind of mess. It would be far easier b use my mini wet/dry vac. The Dyson is still superior for the normal weekly vacuuming on hardwood and carpet.

Ryobi is not that good and is terrible for getting close to walls. I took mine back

Got my cordless Prettycare 2 years ago and It works great. Much cheaper than other brands with similar functions. I use it fro carpet and pet hair vacuum. Love it so much

Had a v10 Dyson for 3yrs. Made the switch to the Ryobi, worst decision of my life. After 4months I returned it and upgraded to the V15 gen5 complete. The suction power and picking up dirt/dust in the carpet is no match with the Dyson. You’ll see the difference between the two.
