This movie was my childhood. Such nostalgia with bittersweet memories. All these years later and this is the first time I've seen behind the scenes. I'm 32 years old now.
ОтветитьThis just blew my mind. Absolutely love this movie (I’m 30) and my son (4) loves Matilda now 😂🥺 this movie is my childhood and now I can share it with my baby. Danny D is an absolute angel on earth ♥️
ОтветитьBehind The Scenes Of The 1944 Hyde Train Collision.
ОтветитьIt's amazing how gentle Pam Farris is compared to the character she played.
ОтветитьI never even thought about blowing up my TV.
ОтветитьLooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee iiiiittttttttttttt♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
ОтветитьDanny Devito is an amazing legend. He acted, directed, produced, and narrated this movie. It reminds me much of Martin Lawrence when he did A thin line between love and hate. Both movies came out the same year 1996.
ОтветитьMan Matilda was my favorite movie when I was a kid I wanted to be

ОтветитьAh,.. I really miss the time like this, back when Hollywood actually has good quality films and heartful message, before they gone full throttle on this PC bs.
Ответитьby the way, I can listen to Matilda with the audio descriptive. If you're not sure what audio descriptive is, it's a tracks that describes what's going on during a movie for someone who is blind or visually impaired. I myself am visually impaired. I am actually totally blind. I'm not exaggerating. I've been blind since birth. Both my iPhone and my desktop computer are equipped with screen readers that talk. My iPhone has a built-in screen reader called voiceover, while my desktop PC has a screen reader called JFW, or Jaws for windows. I also use other things that talk as well, such as a talkin Clock, and I also sometimes will use braille. Especially on the kitchen appliances. They have to be marked, for my benefits. if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have a lot of Star Wars figures that talk. Anyway, you can ask questions. I also am a musician. One of my instruments is the orchestra concert flute. I've been playing the flute for 22 years. I do all of my music by ear. Nothing is red. I have perfect pitch, so that helps too.
Ответитьhello there. Just subscribe to your channel today. That is so cool, how Danny DeVito played Mr. wormwood and directed the film at the same time. I like it when he told Mara to get over her fear by facing her fear head on. You know, there's a lot of things that I'm shy about doing. You see, I'm a Star Wars net. It used to be, that I would be terrified to share my Star Wars things in groups on WhatsApp. Now that I am free to do that, and I am not hindered by any anti-Star Wars rules, I can do that now. I love Danny Devito. He's a phenomenal actor, and he is really down to earth. I am listening to his behind the scenes right now. It's really cool.
ОтветитьThere's a special spot in paradise for Danny DeVito.
ОтветитьGood job on Danny DeVito’s part for making this film. It’s genuinely really cool.
ОтветитьDANNY DEVITO, I LOVE YOUR WORK!!!
ОтветитьSorry but there is a new movie called “matilda the musical” and that’s much better and new realesed last year but your movie is still nice no Offence
ОтветитьWow! Thanks for sharing these cool facts on how this classic was made
ОтветитьThe actors have ways with words. When Roald Dahl sees this segment, he'll go nuts with laughter.
ОтветитьJacquline (Amanda Thripp) is so adorable!
Ответитьi so love this movie
ОтветитьJe me rappelle 😊❤
ОтветитьWhat i think is just so cute here is the fact that Danny and Rhea's best memories on the set seem to really focus around how much fun the kids had and how happy they were.
I only ever really heard about how they took care of Mara, its so cute how sweet they are to everyone.
I knew Mathilda from reading it in school. But somehow everytime I thought about it(almost never), I vizualized it very specific. So I was tripping on acid and was looking for a happy movie when I saw mathilda. When watching I had the best nostalgia feeling throughout the whole movie. I very vaguely remember watching it when I was little. But the memories only came back when watching.
ОтветитьWonder if they knew when making it: it would turn out to be one of those movies that goes down in history, not just another movie: but one that keeps going with the generations and they all love the book and movie just as we did when it first came out (or their wouldn’t be a stage show on for over 10 years and another movie), have to put something rather odd in: why to I think of my primary 1 teacher: Miss Nemic: who taught me age 5-6, I think of her as Miss Honey and always have because they’re sooooo alike ❤
ОтветитьThe acting 🎭 in this is so good its funny 😅
ОтветитьPam Ferris was brilliant in her role!
ОтветитьAmadan hutaun mashallah
ОтветитьDanny the legend
ОтветитьSo refreshing seeing Danny Devito not playing an animal haha.
ОтветитьFriendly reminder that Danny devito is a national treasure. He's also a wonderful director
ОтветитьDid anybody knew that pam ferris who plays trunchbull is british?
ОтветитьI wish the actors went into details about when Miss Trunchbull "kicked" the cat into the air or did the "tally ho" jump from the second story to the first. I wonder what special effects were used in these scenes.
ОтветитьOmg the make-up designer for Miss Trunch also worked on Pirates of the Carribean!
ОтветитьAs a kid, I always fancied Miss Honey, I thought she was very pretty!!
