Everything about this book has made me miss growing up as I had. The various characters are ironically plucked from my own experience (for the most part). I'm in love with it being written from the point of view of the child. My own Mother's heart desperately wishes I could hug and care for him throughout every turn of the page. I'd be quite the mad woman with a shot gun standing guard of his safety 💯❤️

what an amazing story! it is one of the best I have listened to, and I especially like the narrative from the litle boys perspective. brilliant!! and the narrator is outstanding. such a wonderful voice.

Really great book, i am just at 54"40

I was raised on a Dairy Farm so the Cow in the Well is Reality, I am 74 Years old, This is a Realistic Story. I am glad I wasn't a sissy like Jasper
