Terrific feature of a wonderful show!
ОтветитьSome of Bellinger's stuff iis really nice. Thanks.
Ответитьthis is great Loren and Len. I loved seeing those close views of your textures.
ОтветитьLen Bellinger was very interesting to listen to. I'm amazed that he's not more well known and liked. His work is quite interesting. I liked the various textures that he built up using wax, oil paint and gesso. Personally I've discovered much quicker ways of building up all sorts of textures in hours, not years. I'd never have his patience. But anyway, his work was very interesting, because of the textures, and the really dark areas, actually had colour in when the camera moved closer. The one thing I wasn't keen on was the edges, that made some of the works look unfinished. Some of the smaller works were also very good. Thanks James, this was a good one. Keep it up.
ОтветитьThank you James Fitzgerald Kate
Ответитьnext time ask michael david his thoughts on his experience with the "bill lowe gallery" in atlanta. that would be a video to watch
ОтветитьThe cream ultimately rises to the surface. Len Bellinger is a great painter!
