Can Tatars and Kazakhs Understand Each Other?

As a Turkish from Türkiye i just understand some words for both. Why it s so different, because of the nations around us? Like Anatolia is effected by Arabs Persians maybe Rome i dont know? And kazakh tatar are closer to Russia maybe chine?

Azerbaijani 80% but actually there are lots of false friend so drpos to 70% (but Azerbaycans can understand 95% Turkish)
Horasan in Iran, Kırımian Tatari (one of the dialects I think) 55%
Turkmenian 40%
Uzbeks 30%
Kyrgyz %10

So going far east and north from Hazar, it is getting hard to understand or me.

Tatar language sounds like Kazakh a lot but written form is a bit off. Consider the word öçen. It's pronounced quite different from what what is written and sounds exactly like Kazakh word üşın.

The Kazakh guy is not quite familiar with cooking I guess. Assy and tusshy literally means with yeast and without yeast.

Wow, I didnt know that Tatar is so similar to Uzbek. To tell the truth, when she started to read, I thought that she is reading in Uzbek with an accent.

"Yok, ben adamın için doydurulmaz açlık gördüm" Kazakh is very similar to Turkish. I understand more easily than Tatars.

I guess uzbek language is really close to Tatar language. It is basically the same language, just slightly different pronunciation

As a Turk from Türkiye 🇹🇷 must say i tried hard to understand both Tatar and Kazak. Maybe 40% Tatar and 30% of Kazak. Yes many words sound familiar to our Turkish but pronounciation makes it difficult to get the content. Also for us the Oghuz Turks Karluk is easier than Kipchak.

In Russian we call this tatar pastry Эчпочмак (Echpochmak) or we translate triangle into Russian and say Треугольник. And she's right it is very popular, not just among Tatars and Russians but other nationalities.

I am kazakh. And i understand better than that guy. Because i only speak kazakh. Kazakh and Tatar language very similar. I understand her 95%.

I'm Turkish. It is difficult for me to understand parts of speech, but I understand more easily in writing. I understand Kazakh more easily than Tatar, in speaking. In writing, I understood Tatar more easily.

Of course they can, they speak Russian! There's more people that can speak Russian than Kazakh in kazakh. The same as tatars, they all speak Russian.
